Estimate for trip costs please!~

I second that about the character meals..your kids are pretty young I think(from what I remember in your first post) and while the meals are fun, our kids usually were to distracted to eat much so it was a lot of money for not a lot of food consumed! ( and of course more spent later when they were hungry!) Maybe go to toontown for photos and such and eat either a cheaper sit down or counter, never been to the IC social but have seen very mixed reviews on here as far as character involvment goes but it is cheaper ...The crt would be a toughy, although my oldest daughter fell asleep at it !

also don't beat yourself up,,,we ALWAYS went on a limited budget and my grown kids now just remember the fun they had, not that they didn't get every Mickey bar they wanted! ( just asked them last night) sometimes I think we want more for our kids than they really care about!

We are a very budget oriented family. Maybe you could do 2 character breakfasts. When we go we will do 2 breakfast and have them for the last sitting. It is around 10:30--that way they can have a pop tart whent hey get up and then have like a brunch---and then do dinner. Our fav. breakfast spot is Crystal Palace. We are a family of 4--DS 9 and DD 6--went three times this past year and a half. Our firs trip we took 1000 for food a souveniors and did not use it all. WE spent around 200 on souveniors--took all of our snacks in the book bag--drinks, candy, crackers, lunchables (only 2x). The only snack we bought in the park was 1 mickey bar for everyone--that is a rule---only do this once and my kids know. I hknow I am rambling but this is what we did our first trip when the kids were 7 and 4.
Cindy's for breakfast, Chef Mickeys, 50's Prime time, and the cantina in Epcot. We would have breakfst in the room and an early lunch and a light snack fir dinner. Or we would eat breakfast out and have an early dinner. Each kid came with 50 to spend--they knew we would get them their pin lanyard, one pin, and, autograph book, and a shirt. Anything else they wanted they had to buy themselves. It worked great--when their money was gone it was gone and really helped us with not always having to tell them no. You can have a lot of fun on a budget---in fact when we go in Dec. my kids are already asking for the budget rules for that trip. Have fun!
