ESTA'S set to cost from Sep

Martin Lewis (money saving expert) warns that ESTA's will no longer be free from Sept/Oct, so do them now if travelling in the next 1-2 yrs. Heres a link

Even if you've already got one you can apply for another so you get another two years free.
Apparently you need one even if you're only passing through the States en route to somewhere else.
Charges likely to be introduced in Sept/Oct and probably $10 per person.

You need your passport as you have to put in your passport numbers. Otherwise personal info you should already know like date of birth etc.

You may also want to enter your address for while in the US. I did and will do so again but I understand this is not compulsory and you can go in and amend any of these at any time. If not printing, be sure to make a note of your reference no in case you want to call it up again. There is a great sticky right at the top of the UK page on here. Step by step and it really is a guide!

You paid the UK Govt and the Airline - now you can pay the US Govt as well

Lol, that's what I have been saying for the last few months. Now I need a new printer and if I had the time to sit and go through the whole process at work I would, but I don't want to be interrupted midway through in case the page times out or something with half my details in there. At least we should get 2 trips out of our freebie.
