this is a question to those of you that have filled out your esta, did you print it it out and did you get confirmation that they recieved your details? ok two questions i cant count:rotfl:

thats funny as i nearly asked the same questions yesterday.

i didnt print mine out but took down the number.
i was surprised i didnt get a confirmation or anything via email, weird as they ask for your email address

I done the 4 of ours last week,it does give you the option to print it.I did print all of ours+i also jotted the numbers down, and i also printed the final page which tells you,you have been accepted.
No confirmation to say they had received our details, but authorisation/acceptance was good enough for me :thumbsup2 .x.(on another dis board people have been asked at check in by Virgin to see these print outs).x.

We filled ours in the other day and just took the numbers down. I expected some sort of email confirmation too. I was so stressed filling it in - I must have read through it 15 times :lmao:

I saved our final acceptance page to my desktop and will print it out before we go I also recorded the conf numbers in my disney holiday book:thumbsup2

Hi all, I wrote the reference number down at the submission stage expecting some sort of delay before getting the thumbs up. We were approved immediately and I printed off the details.

I printed ours off, the only problem is that everybodys except mine went through straight away so their full details printed. Mine went pending :confused3 and when it was confirmed all I got was a confirmation number which doesnt even have my name on it? I presume this will do :confused3

Don't stress too much as you still have to fill in the green i-94w at the moment even if you have done esta.I flew out yesterday with BA and no one asked for my esta confirmation and there was no great panic of you haven't done it either .Eventually the I94W will disappear but not yet.

I have done ours but no longer have the confirmation numbers, we have no immediate trips planned, i think it states that there is no requirement to have a copy, i assume the details will come up when youir passport is scanned stateside or when you check in at the uk airport, the green form will still need to be filled out anyway.

we filled all ours out online, got all the acceptance numbers saying all were authorised. Jotted them down and then a month after I went to update the info on my sons and they had no record of that authorisation number??:confused3 I asked for info on where theirs had gone (me and the dh's were still there) and they had no clue, glitches in the system, so to do theirs again.

Can you use your confirmation numbers to go back into the system and print out your forms if you didn't do them at the time?
We printed all ours out when we did them but, as has already been stated, are still expecting to have to fill out the green forms on the plane.

Did ours yesterday was plesently surprised as to how simple it was. Printed them both off as recommended just in case.

If you have no trips planned how did you fill in your address details for the USA and if you put something in but will ammend later you would need your confirmation number to be able to do that?

I haven't printed ours but did note the confirmation numbers. Although it states that there is no requirement to show it before being allowed to fly, it appears that Virgin have been asking people for confirmation printpouts so I will probably print them before we travel just to be on the safe side.

Can you get copies of the green (and White) forms prior to departure?\

Normally the wife ends up filling them in but there is 10 of us this year which includes parents and they do not have the best eye sight so she will spend most of the time completing forms.

Cheers

Neil

I filled them out for our new year trip just gone but it is valid for 2 years. we may go again in june, so i suppose it should be updated for every trip.

The only problem is that although it states the reference number when the authority is until it does not state who it is for
