Hi we are returning to florida at xmas (was it me who said last summer was our last big family holiday as eldest now in 3rd year uni and planned to work abroad in the next 2 summers ?rotfl:) Our estas were set up for flights to mco but we are flying to newyork then on to tampa. Going on our first ever cruise (a bit nervous as eldest may not be very happy when she finds out is a cruise- due to a very bad experience on the sea cat. . She thinks shes going to tenerife- airport sceene may be funny :lmao:.)

Do we have to do anything to the old esta to update with the new info.

Nope, I have never amended my Esta despite 3 different trips to the US into different airports each time

Updating the flight information etc is voluntary however I choose to do it as I would rather have everything matching but I know others on here have never updated.

Personal choice :thumbsup2

As above its personal choice.
I choose not to, don't see the point when its voluntary.
Our last ESTA's expired this year after 5 trips without updating. Our new ones we just used for the 2nd time.

I would always print off a copy and take with you though. We took a copy of our new ones in July thankfully, the system could not find 2 out of the 3. The immigration officer told me I had saved a lot of time and hassle having coppies with me.

we havent updated before but we have always flow Man to MCO on virgin (As we booked fly dr the day the brochure come out and always got great prices at xmas and school hols (never had to pay more than £550 pp-It was £545 this summer) but this Xmas OMG:eek: the prices fly dr on release day were upwards of £880 and the flight only was not much cheeper flying 27th dec - 7th Jan. So we had to find another way.

Now for a big thnks to you Wayneg :thumbsup2 as I had all but given up trying to get flights when I recalled a post of yours from a way back were you mentioned booking through US sites. After finding your post I managed to book through Orbitz last week and got good prices with only one change from Gla. I had started looking at crazy routes gla-via mainland EU with at least 3 flights.

Its still more than we used to pay up until this year but I guess its the taxes and fuel costs that are pushing up the fares this year

thanks again
