Does anyone know if the ESPN takes reservations? We will be there over the Superbowl and DH wants to watch the game? How difficult will it be to get in?

No they do not. It is a first come first serve basis. I also believe your entire party must be present. I am sure it will be busy for the superbowl. Get there early enough and wait in line. We were down there for the Stanley Cup finals and only had to wait about 10 minutes.

If it is too long of a wait you could watch it in your room.

No reservations. For the Super Bowl, you probably need to get there when it opens at 11:30 and stay all day and night for it. You are talking about the most watched sports event of the year. In a sports bar. Where no one has to go to work the next day. You will have to devote pretty much your entire day to the Super Bowl.


If I were at Disney World on Super Bowl Sunday, I'd enjoy the parks until the game started and then go back to the room and watch it in peace and quiet.

Don't know about the Superbowl , but when we went to watch a Steeler game, your whole party did not have to be present to be seated, though we always sat in the bar section.

I usually got there about 11:30 and DH would come with the kids right at game time. No problem.

Nope, to watch the superbowl there you would have to line up many, many hours in advance. The superbowl will be showing on all the resort bar tvs, your room tv, etc. You won't have any problem finding it playing!

I think I'd rather miss the superbowl than try to watch it at the ESPN bar. It's gonna be crazy-packed. If it was me, I'd figure out a plan B - maybe make friends with somebody there and have a mini-party in the hotel room.

I agree, we have also been at Disney during just the playoffs and the line is out the door. Not for me, hubby watches football in the room

ESPN is DH's favourite place - we're usually there an hour before opening (sundays) and there is still a line (bar area). They do close the doors once the bar area gets full though. Never been at Superbowl but would love to
