Ok, I may be wrong, but wasn't the ESPN on the WW of Sports site about 4 years ago? I ate there one night with my DH and no lie, we were the only 2 people in the place. I read so many stories now on how busy, crowded it is and believe it's now somewhere near the Boardwalk?

???

You're thinking of the Official All-Star Cafe, which is similar in theme. All-Star Cafe is still at WWOS. Two factors keep ASC less crowded than ESPN Club (which has always been in the same location): Location and Size. ASC is pretty remote, and it's a bit larger as well. I've enjoyed both very much, but during a peak season, I would head to ASC in a heartbeat before going to ESPN Club.... ESPN has more TVs, but the large screens at ASC are easier to view (and because of their placement, they're also easier to ignore if you are so inclined).

Oh, thanks so much for clarifying that. I really thought that was ESPN. I just couldn't believe how dead it wasand how they stayed in business.

One of the great mysteries of WDW... perhaps they do enough business during youth sports events and Braves Spring Training? I've only been a couple of times in the evening between major events, so I've never seen it crowded (food and service were good, though.)

We ended up at the All Star Cafe by accident on one trip. We were taking an internal bus to the Boardwalk to watch the Vikings/Packers game at ESPN (we had lunch reservations), and the bus got in an accident! We ended up sitting on the bus for over an hour at the accident scene waiting for paperwork to get done. So, we missed our reservations at ESPN.

When a CM found out, they offered us free personal transportation for the rest of the day. Since ESPN was going to be too packed to get in by that time, they brought us in a van to the All Star Cafe to watch the game and have lunch! We were pleasantly surprised! The food was really good and the atmosphere was a lot of fun! Not too crowded either!

It's become one of our favorite places now! :)
