We just ate here last Friday night for DH's birthday - the night of the big Lakers game. Because of the "big game," the screening room (bar side area) had a stand by wait - which meant that they had reached capacity and would not let one person in unless another person left. Also, there was a $10 minimum/per person/per hour from the time we got there (around 6 PM) until the game was over. The game didn't even start until 6:30, I think. It was already packed when we got there and we had to wait in line just to tell them we had a reservation (about a 5 minute wait in line). By the time we left there was a separate line outside the door with a podium and a rope. People were lined up for a long while, decked out in their team's colors - hoping that someone will leave so they can go watch the game!!
The MVP club is a must if you want to eat here during any big game. Once we flashed the card, we were the next table seated! Although I felt bad watching all these other groups wait with their pager. But maybe they were waiting for the bar? Also, when I made the reservation I told them we wanted to watch a specific game, but they paid no attention to that when we sat down. I also told them it was DHs birthday - which they also didn't seem to care about.
Also, there is a smaller bar in the studio grill room, towards the back. It was empty when we sat down and standing room only when we left around 7:15ish.
Service was pretty slow, but we never went with an empty glass. Server paid attention to us until she realized that we were there to watch baseball and not basketball and that we weren't going to order a ton of alcoholic drinks. It became clear that those who did order more food and alcoholic drinks were favored, but I'm used to that. The food was pretty good - but nothing spectacular. DH claims that the ESPN zone in Denver is much better.
The prices are reasonable. Only place in that general Disney area where you can get a reasonably priced burger at a sit-down place. Salad that I had - Southwestern Chicken something rather - was pretty bland. Just a corn salsa with a vinaigrette, mixed greens and bow tie pasta. Chicken was good - but tasted like it had been made hours ago in a large batch to go with any dish that included grilled chicken. Seemed more like Disney food than anything else!

IMO, go there for the sports. The food is OK - great place for some change of scenery from the Disney craziness. Also, the games looked like a good place for kids to hang out while parents enjoy some apps and drinks at the bar. Saw many families doing this with their 7-14 year old kids.
