So we are planning our trip right around the ESPN weekend, not on purpose just thats when it happened to be. How busy is it really around that time? We have some flexibility as exact dates but can't and don't want to change it too much. I want to go after Presidents weekend but before the really busy season starts. That leaves us from about Feb 18 to the first week or so in March. The ESPN weekend falls in the last weeekend of Feb-first of March. Would it be worth going then or trying to get in and out before all that? Weve been planning for almost 2 years and want to have the best trip possible on the most resonable budget :goodvibes

oh and we are sports fans BUT depending on what ESPN weekend has to offer may not be a big deal.

thanks in advance!!

OOOO I LOVE ESPN the Weekend!! We have been every year since it started! My DS's have been able to play football with Jerry Rice and many other of major football stars. We met a gold medalist from the Olympics who actually had his medal on him and let me hold it! Which I thought was very very cool! Last year when we went, it seems the word had gotten out, so it was a bit more crowded and more professional autograph hunters. I honestly don't go to any other parks except MGM during that weekend. I do know, the parks tend to close early that time of year. MGM closes at about 7. If you do decide to try ESPN, go on Friday as Saturday is REALLY crowded, and Fri and Sun aren't nearly as bad. The few trips to ESPN the weekend have been some of the most memorable trips we have taken.
