Will ESPN the Weekend affect any of the park crowd levels other than MGM? It is February 25-27 but all events are being held at MGM.

We have never heard of this 'event' before and aren't sure how the crowds will affect our trip. We will wait until after the 27th to visit MGM, if need be. However, we are very concerned about the crowds this may generate.

Thanks for any advice!!!! :)

I actually don't have any insight or an answer for you. However, I'll give this a bump back up and hope someone can help you.

They had an ESPN weekend at MGM in August when we went, since it was August, it was crowded, so we took advantage of FP and PS (we had the Princess Package which gave us PS to Beauty and the Beast, which they made a mistake with, so they gave us a new PS for B&B and gave us a "red ticket" for Fantasmic, which is given for the Dinner package - like a PS, but not really!)

The worst part for me was our wake up call was an ESPN reminders... ewww!! and when we got there and saw that we missed our favorite hockey coach of all time - Jeff Sauer of the Wisconsin Badgers, we were bummed!! lol

sorry cant help you for Feb

We will be there the same time, and I was wondering the same thing. Also, will the ESPN weekend will effect the other parks too?

I dont feel it will effect the parks that much. They are trying to get it hyped up. But I dont think it will bring the crowds they are hoping. But in the future I would watch out cause there really trying to push this
