Our trip happens to fall on ESPN the Weekend. Do they publish a schedule of events in advance or do I need to wait until we get there? It would be nice to know if we need to rush over to HS on arrival day! TIA :)

Unfortunately that website doesn't tell us anything! I understand that the personalities and athletes can change their plans at last minute but it would be nice to have more details. DH wants to see Mike & Mike and Herd and honestly I don't want to spend 3 days at DHS wandering around wondering when things are going to happen!:confused3

Agreed! I see that last year the did Q&A sessions in the Beauty and the Beast Theater. We don't care which people are there but they have to know when these are going to be:confused3

We'll also be there on that weekend (running the 5k at DHS on Saturday morning). Allears.net has some archives of the 2008 schedule which may give you an idea of how things will be laid out this year. The events seems rather random but a good mix that will go on those three days. I figure we'll get there on Friday and go to DHS and grab a schedule and then decide how much time we'll want to spend there. I'm with you though, we probably won't spend all 3 days at DHS.

I can't believe how bad that website is. Not user friendly at all. I went looking for the schedule yesterday and found it and now I can't find it. :confused3 I'll keep looking.

I will check out Allears. Thanks!

Good luck with the 5K! I really wanted to run but found out about after our plans had been made.

I was at Disney during last year's ESPN weekend, and we weren't able to get a schedule until we arrived (which was the first day of the weekend). It made planning to attend any of the events really tough. I guess they do want to be able to tweak the schedule right up until the last minute. Last year Roger Clemens was on the "Scheduled to Appear" list...and then the steroid scandal broke. He ultimately did not attend, but he was certainly talked ABOUT a lot that weekend...:rolleyes1

For me, the best part was seeing the athletes just touring the parks. We rode the Tower of Terror with three Harlem Globetrotters (in uniform) -- hilarious picture!
