I want to try and get in early enough but will it be packed then? I have 2 kids. 1 in a wheelchair. If not I need a place in Epcot good for my kids. But not a $$$$$$$$$ one. Alittle $$$$ is ok. Is there a good dinner character Buffet? Fussy eaters. Thanks much :goodvibes

ESPN Zone is not actually in Epcot. You will have to travel to the Boardwalk to eat here. You can get there by boat. My husband and I did this while kids stayed at the Kids Club at Beach Club. The food was not good- would not go back to eat there. But we were watching college football and no other place had as many tvs. Service was bad also. The waitress was not very interested in making money.

We stay at the Beach Club Villas so we tend to eat at the ESPN Zone at least once a trip. It is a typical sports bar kind of place. The food isn't great but it's not bad at all. The tvs and video games keep the kids entertained and if we go before 6:00 p.m. we can usually get in and out before the kids get fussy. If you wait until later than that, it can get crowded. You can walk or take the boat from the back Epcot entrance to get there.

In Epcot we usually try to eat at the Garden Grill once every other trip. It is a character dinner (Mickey, Pluto and Chip and Dale) with delicious food. It is located inside the Land.

We also like Restaurant Marakesh, located inside Morocco. They have a belly dancer and musicians, which keep the kids entertained while we can eat.

They also have a lot of counter service places that are good for eating with kids. DH and the kids like the fish and chips place in England.

HTH!

ESPN is on the Boardwalk. It is about a 5 minute walk from the International Gateway near England in Epcot. ESPN is great fun for sports fans, the ultimate sports bar. It is set up with tables set around a main ceiling high TV. There are also individual TV's around the dining room. The main room is tiered and it is accessible. Crowds can be an issue for big games. If you want to watch a particular game then get there early. There usually is a big turnover after each game. They do not push you out, so you can order and watch the game as long as you want.
The food is good to very good (great hugh hot dog). It is mostly burgers, fries, chicken fingers, sandwiches, nachos, etc. Staff is friendly and attentive. Often times they do radio shows from there or they have guests come in. As a place to go for a break from the park it is a good option. The price is moderate at ESPN and a good value for Disney. All in all a good choice.

Thanks eveyone. We actually love sports bars and I did know it was on the boardwalk. But maybe we'll check out CG. Thanks for all opinions. :flower:
