Just wondering how I find out more information regarding priority seating for important playoff games? We are going to be there on NYE and depending on if our team makes the collage football playoffs we would like to make sure we have a spot to watch it. Any information would be great. Thanks.

If you are asking about VIP seating, your best bet is to call ESPN directly and determine if it will be offered during the play-offs especially since it could well be a holiday. I'm not sure VIP seating will be offered during such a busy time, but the only way to know is ask ESPN.

They have changed the name and no longer call it VIP seating, they call it Priority Seating. When I booked it last month the manager told me they are no longer advertising it, in hopes to phase it out. They are offering it when asked for fewer and fewer games.

PP is right, call ESPN and ask. They'll give you the number to their manager and he'll let you know if they'll offer it or not.

If it is offered, how does it work? Do you have to pay extra for your table?

You pay a set per person price and the price includes alcohol and food of your choice. I can't recall how much it is per person IF it is being offered.

It is expensive, per person.
I am not positive but I think the most recent reports were $75/person

This used to be the best "VIP Seating"(it was a Pixie Dust kind of thing),but unfortunately, they have removed them.:)

That sounds about right - we were there for Game 7 of the World Series, and there was a large group of Indians fans at the center table in the main dining area, and I believe my friend heard that they had each paid $75 for their seats.

Yes, we did it last month and it was $75 per person. DH and I still exceeded it when staying for an entire football game. But maybe we drink more than avg folks do?
But with an appetizer, drinks, entree, we have never spent less than that when there for a game.

We have done it for football on a Sunday before, just DH and I. We ordered appetizers, entrees, dessert, soda, and two pitchers of beer and still did not meet the food & beverage minimum. We were upcharged the difference so it was not an issue, but IMO, it would have worked better if we had more people. Our stomachs were busting at the seams when we left there!

LOL.. I guess we drink more. Or drink more expensive stuff. We've never left there for less than $75/each. Usually, including last month, we exceed it.
We are beer snobs, especially me.

I have spent less for a game but the difference is really negligible when you know that you have a seat. the last time we went to the ESPN club for a game we found out that they took away ALL the non-reserved seating in the bar area and we had to stand. I would gladly pay $25 extra to have a seat.

Now I just have to wait to see what game my Wisconsin Badgers got to!

We were drinking bud light, so on the cheaper end. And in fairness, we were about $20 shy of the minimum so not a huge gap. But it definitely works out better for those who want to eat & drink the more expensive entrees and beers, since you pay the same regardless. But we chalked it up to the cost of having a reserved seat and being able to stroll in at 1pm with no worries. That made it worth it to us.

Same here. I was really sorry to hear the manager say they were going to eventually eliminate it. I'm hoping he was wrong. We've done it on most every trip we've made during football season.

Definitely!

For a MUST SEE/HAVE TO SEE IT Game,Priority Seating is a GREAT deal just to know a table is guaranteed!:)

(But watching from these seats will never be beat-it was AWESOME!)

Sadly, you can't do that any longer. They are gone

I am super concerned because first of all my team needs to make the college football playoffs and that it would be on NYE. I would love to reserve a seat and would be willing to pay a price to do it. I guess I will worry about that when/if OSU makes the playoffs :) Go Bucks!!

Yeah, as soon as the games are set I'd call and see what they say. I'm not even going to venture to guess what they'll decide being NYE and Playoffs.
