Want to watch the Eagles play while I am in WDW, and I know they will not be on locally down there because they are playing the Lions and I believe the Bucs are on at 1:00. Anyhow, do I really need to go to the ESPN at 11:00 AM for a 1:00 kickoff? The following weekend I do not need to worry because they are the Sunday night game vs. the Giants so I can watch that at the hotel bar. I am sure there will be plenty of Eagles' fans:drinking1 :drinking1 at ESPN.

My experience,
The pool bars at the resorts don't have any problems turning on a game playing on ESPN (or ESPN2 for that matter).
Not had any problems with the lounges either (indoor bars) depending on game time.
Now if you want to watch a race on Speedvision (such as Formula 1) -- you'll have to go to ESPN Club on Boardwalk to see it.

I seriously hope so, otherwise my DH will probably cancel the trip! Its no coincidence THAT's the day we booked BBB for our daughter since he has no interest in that whatsoever...When the Patriots are on, the world stops revolving...

don't eve nget me started about "fantasy" football :rolleyes1

I would indeed recommend getting there a little early. Keep in mind, that there are multiple games on multiple screens, and while you may be able to watch the game you want, hearing it may be another matter.

we generally get there around 11:15 and doors open at 11:30. We always sit on the bar side which is first come first served seating so I always get there early to ensure a particular booth! (we're nutso like that). I think if you're not picky about your seat you can get there pushing noon, but no later.

As far as Eagles fans at ESPN, they generally come out in droves and do 'the' chant (shudder) when they score.
GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!:cheer2:

Absolutely get there early if you want a booth on the bar side.
We got there at about 10:45 a.m. for a 1 p.m. game - and there were already groups of people there who had showed up around 9 a.m. - and that was for the LATE game! Granted, those guys were insane fans, but still...

There are only a few booths available. There are bartop tables there though, but then you don't get your own TV. We usually have a large group, so we're always early and we run for the back corner booth. It's a great place to camp out, order wings, nachos, beers, burgers and enjoy the game.

I love watching the Pats there.

One of the hosts there once told me that if there's either a Pats game or an Eagles game - it will likely be the game with audio. He said there are more Pats and Eagles fans that show up than any other team.

We usually get there around 11:30 at least also. And don't worry, there are always TONS of Eagles fans that bother all the rest of us other well behaved fans!!! :lmao:

yes, Pats fans and Eagles fans - always there
Pats fans are generally well behaved (as opposed to those pesky bird fans) ;)
Sox fans on the other hand....well let's just say I've seen some not so pretty behavior during a certain Sox/Yankees playoff series! Can you say chick fight? Hilarious!!!:rolleyes1
