ESPN Game Station by Fisher-Price

I'm thinking of getting this for my grandsons. Does anyone already have this? Do your children like it? I'm not sure if it is worth the money - 179.99 at SuperTarget. But it sure looks like it would keep them busy this winter!

We've had this for about a year now (DS got it last Dec. for BD) and he still plays with it often - but he's really a sports nut! He mostly uses it for basketball now, and just occasionally plays the other sports with it. Word of caution tho - it took us ~ 4 hours to put together (and DH is handy)..... not difficult, just time consuming.

My mom called also and wants to get it for my boys - she saw it today in the Target circular for 160. My DH is not sure so I want to look at it before itell
her to buy it for them.

I just got this for my DS at Toy R Us for $179, I noticed Target had it on sale for $160, The Championship Edition. I had my sister pick the one up at Target for me and I will return the one to Toys R Us. The one from Targetwas cheaper and you got extra balls with it.

I better tell my DH about the 4 hours putting it together, it may be 6 for him, he's NOT handy!

My DS7 asked for this last year. While we were at Walmart we wandered over to the toy dept to check it out. When I saw the price I said, "My goodness, that's too much money!" He looked up at me and said, "I said from Santa!" It took me a minute and I said "Alrighty then!" It took a long time to set up and it takes up a lot of space outside on our enclosed patio.

WE'VECONSIDERED BUYING THIS ALSO BUT HAVEN'T SEEN IT DISPLAYED ANYWHERE. I'M AFRAID IT IS GOING TO BE TERRIBLY CHEAP AND MY LITTLE DARLINGS (hahahah) WILL BREAK IT BEFORE THE HOLIDAY IS OVER. ALSO, DOES ANYONE KNOW IF IT FOLDS UP FOR STORAGE? MY HOUSE ISN'T EXACTLY THE TAJ MAHAL.

Yes it does fold up. Straight up it is over 6 ft high by around 3 ft. wide. it is a good system and nobody has broken it yet.

The sale dates at Target start today (Sunday). I am going today to get a price adjustment. The only reason I purchased it because it did fold up.
