Hello all you sports fans who love to eat. My question concerns the VIP seating for games at the ESPN Club. It looks like you reserve a seat for the game and then you must spend a minimum amt. while you are there. Question 1 does this include Monday night football games in the fall? Question 2 what was the minimum charge when you went. Thanks for the answers I know will be forthcoming. Ricky P

I believe it does include MNF -hopefully someone will confirm. Last I heard it was $70/person and any food/drinks are deducted off that. So if you can eat or drink say $60 worth of food/drink ...the seat effectively cost you $10. That's a good deal in my mind. ESPN was a pretty big surprise a few years ago -the food, for sports bar food, was very good. My wife is a food snob and she even enjoyed it.

We did a VIP game in Jan (our 2nd time to do one) and it was $70. DH and I go over the $70 by a little bit each time. But we both drink several beers while there too (taking full advantage of not having to drive)

And a very nice benefit of the service, they make sure to seat you at the game you want to watch

Interesting how different our experience was at ESPN in Orlando vs California in Downtown Disney. Orlando version always has a line Sunday for NFL (and now has the VIP tables due to demand) and last October on an NFL Sunday in California, I walked right in and the place was dead. I had the option to sit anywhere. Might have a lot to do with games starting at 10AM in California and 1PM in Orlando.

I think the $70 per person in Orlando is reasonable if you order a bunch of drinks the fact you can get to watch the game you want.

Actually, this is not a surprise at all. LA didn't keep an NFL team due to lack of interest. They are getting one back but it will be interesting to see if there is really any interest. So it doesn't surprise me one bit to hear that no one wants to bother to watch games at ESPN Club out there

Is this the ESPN Club on the BW or the Grill at WWS?

So if we are there in August and want to get VIP seating for a Yankee game, would we be able to and how would that work? As I understand it, they don't take reservations so would this be a way to get a table without waiting? Can you choose a time? Thanks.

ESPN Club at BW
As for if they offer it during Baseball season. I don't know. I'd give them a call and see.
