espn club?

Yes, you can eat at ESPN Club. They have a bar area and also a dining room area. Here is the menu:

As far as buses, ESPN Club is on the Boardwalk so you should be able to take a bus from any park directly to the Boardwalk Inn, which is where ESPN Club is.

You can also walk there from Epcot - through the International Gateway - or take a boat from Epcot or MGM, too.

The food is pretty good --- love their nachos!!
:thumbsup2

We have eaten there on our last 2 trips. Food is very good. We usually do that for lunch while at Epcot. It can seem like a long walk, but it's worth it.
My DS's get a "kick" out of the tv's in the bathroom.

They also do not take ADR's and if you're going on a day when there is a big sports event there will be a lot of people wanting to get in. For example my family and I tried to go in January 1999, however we did not know that night was the NCAA BCS National Championship Football game and when we got there the line to get in was very long and out the door. So we left and ended up going to TGI Fridays in Lake Buena Vista.

I would recommend ESPN club. DH and I love it. Only bad thing is that seating is on a first come first serve basis no matter how many people are in your party you won't be seated until everyone in line in front of you is seated. If you can handle that it's definately worth the wait when there is one.

How big of an event do you think the Red Sox and the Yankees playing in New York will be? DH and DD are determined to watch the game at ESPN the last week of August and I want to make sure we get there early enough to get a table. We are doing a budget trip so we are only eating TS two meals - one before Pirate and Princess party and this one for the game. I hate not having an ADR - either we will be there too early or too late! We're staying at the Boardwalk on points so getting to ESPN isn't a problem. Just trying to get some idea of how early we should get there if we want to be seated by around 7. Thanks for any help you can give.

We just ate there on July 12. We got there around 6:00 pm and there was a 30 minute wait for a table but we were offered the opportunity to seat ourselves and sit in the bar area. We went right in and found a table in the bar area. We were able to see many different TV's from our table.

Since you're at BWI, I'd start walking over to ESPN Club around 6:15ish. We are Yankee fans and when we stay at BC, we always walk over to ESPN Club to catch a few innings and there is always a waiting line. However, I should say we've never been to WDW at the end of August, so I can't comment on crowd levels at that time. It's a fun experience seeing a game on big-screen TV while enjoying some good food.
