I'm thinking about parking hubby here to watch the football game. How early would you arrive in order to get a table? Will they let you sit there as long as you like? He's more than willing to get there early and watch all of the pre-game stuff. He's also willing to eat a lot of wings and drink a lot of beer if that helps.

Thanks,

Jennifer

Good luck! ESPN gets crazy fun when there are big sporting events on TV. Are you planning on being in the large dining room (stadium seating w/huge screen) or the bar dining area? The dining area has a waiting line and the bar area is first come first served.

Which game are you trying to catch? Knowing the time and game makes a difference. . .We typically go in June--NBA play-offs. I know we wanted to catch a play-off game and arrived at 6:00 p.m. for a 9:00 p.m. start time. It was jammed. We wandered the area and lucked into a table in the bar area. The line for the other room was out the door and down the Boardwalk. It really depends on the game and how popular the event with the crowd. Trust me, we were willing to eat loads of junk food and drink plenty of beers to keep our table. :) :thumbsup2

It's a great place for sporting events!

we went for the super bowl a few years ago. We were there 5 hours before the game and never ended up with a table. We also watched the Ohio State Michigan game there 2 years ago and did get a table about 3 1/2 hours before.

GO BUCKS!

I'm pretty sure he won't have any problem watching in the bar.:rolleyes1 So, do you think anyone outside of LSU and Ohio State fans will be dying to see this? I'm not a football fan but I can't imagine paying $$$ for a Disney vacation and then wasting a bunch of time watching a game my team isn't even playing in.

Last time this happened we were in Las Vegas and there were dozens of sports bars for him to choose from. He was the only LSU fan at Bally's but there were lots of USC people there who for some reason were happy to be his game buddy and cheer on the Tigers. Since he can't go to the game parties here I want him to have plenty of LSU fans along in WDW if I can find it. Mostly I don't want to sit in a hotel room all evening watching football just to keep him company.

If he's interested in seeing the game with lots of other college football fans, eating wings and drinking beer, he should go to the bar instead of the restaurant part. The two are attached but there are two different lines. The bar side very rarely will have a line. The restaurant will have it's share of action but the big fans who watch the games "in style" (like your husband wants to), will be in the bar.

1) The game is at 8:00am EST.
2) Get to ESPN by about 1:00pm EST.
3) Gonna be awfully crowded by early afternoon.
