ESPN Club-anything good beyond the burgers?

Another vote for the wings here!
One of my two best wings on WDW property:
1. Rainforest Café
2. ESPN

I like the chili. It has pieces of steak in addition to ground beef--yum! Enjoy!

We just ate there last week. We had the nachos for an appetizer and we all loved them. DD got the pulled pork sandwich, DS got the chicken tenders in the wings sauce on a bun (can't remember the name) and DH & I split the steak and cheese sandwich. We all thought the meal was great and will make that a stop on each trip.

I have ordered ESPN's special of the day several times and it has been surprisingly excellent. Grilled fish - mahi mahi almost every time as I recall. Very very good! :sunny:

can someone tell me where this club is? Is it o nthe Boardwalk?

Do they take DDE?

Hmmm...one of DH's fave restaurants. So far, we haven't had anything we didn't like! Wings, nachos, burgers, reuben, pulled pork sandwich. So far, we liked it all!! :thumbsup2

Pulled Pork Sandwich..this is what i get every trip..Little messy but yummy!

I had this on a trip in late Feb and it was terrible. The pulled pork at Flame Tree BBQ at AK was much better.

Overall, as a restaurant, ESPN Club is a great sports bar - I don't find the food to be very good at all (I can't believe that others have commented on how good the nachos were; I had them a few years back and they were not even made with real cheese, but instead used that cheez whiz type cheese you get a ballparks - ugh!).

OK, I'm a Buffalo wings guy, the ones at the ESPN are not that great. I've had every level of wings there including one that I told the waiter to tell the chef they couldn't make them hot enough to pour on the sauce. They are OK, but nothing great.

The Patriots Clam Chowder (or as I call it the THREE time World Champion Patriots) is very good. Being from NH, I am very picky about "New England" clam chowder.

I really haven't had a dissapointing meal there yet, and that goes well beyond the burgers. Best time to go is around 4:00pm, no crowds and fast service. Anytime after that there is usually a long wait.

Full menu is available at the bar.

You have to realize that the ESPN Zone is a Sports Bar first. So don't go in expecting a great meal. If your expectations are high, go somewhere else. If you are looking for a good, quick meal it's a good call.

I love their chicken sandwiches! I don't know why, but I do! I try & eat there at least once every trip just for this sandwich!
