Espn Bar And Room Service

DO THEY HAVE FOOD IN THIS BAR TO ORDER? WHAT TYPES AND DO YOU PAY FOR ANY OF THIS FOOD? ALSO IS THERE 24 HOUR ROOM SERVICE? AND WHAT IS ON THAT MENU IF YOU WOULD BE SO KIND?

Yes, it is 24 hours! Also, there are "fast food" outlets where the food (hot dogs, hamburgers, wraps, etc.) are free, but they are not 24 hours.

On our last cruise (7 day eastern on the Magic) there were pretzels, chips, and nuts in the ESPN bar. There was nothing to order just a table setup with some snacks. This was not always the case though, sometimes there was not anything setup. I think it depends on what is going on, I would guess they time things with sporting events. One note, this bar is at one of the highest places on the ship, if the A/C goes out (which it did for a few hours on our trip) this bar is a pretty steamy place to be...

We were just on the 4 day Wonder cruise and the ESPN bar did not have a menu for ordering food, but did have self serve nachos and cheese and hot dogs. My son and I stopped up a few times for a quick snack and to catch some sports action. One day they had the 197something NBA All-Star game on. It was fun to watch with my son and actually have him see all the old greats. Something we probably would not have time to do at home.

bcburgner, you mentioned nachos & cheese. Was it the real melted shredded cheese, the kind you get on nachos at restuarants, or was it that fake sauce stuff, like you get at sports arenas? I know this sounds like a stupid question, but it makes a huge difference to me.

Not being a true nacho and cheese connoiseur, I can't say for sure if the cheese was the good stuff or some cheap stuff, but it was the melted cheese not shredded. But it tasted fine to me.
