Since our disney cruise over Christmas my 5 yo is constantly asking when can I have Escargots again (and yes she is aware that they are snails but this is an adventurous little eater, amongst her other favorites are mussels and oysters)

We leave for WDW next saturday and I know that she can get her fix at Chefs de France but is there anywhere else that they are available.

it's either that or we may just have to take another cruise ;)

Thanks in advance

K.

I'm sure you can get them locally or even make them yourself! They have them at some supermarkets and are really easy to make. Sometimes they sell give you the shells too!

I'm sure the two restaurants in France have them at Epcot. Other than that on-site, I am not sure. Maybe one of the Signature places like Citrico's?

If you ever go down during F&W, they had them at the France booth in a nice mini brioche (sp?) bread bowl. As for the ones on DCL, I really enjoyed those to. DW & I are now thinking of tacking a 3 night cruise on to my b-day trip in Nov, and the Escargot was one of the first things that jumped to mind.

Locally I haven't managed to find them yet.

We have dinner booked one night at Citricos, perhaps I'll call and ask them.

yes i enjoyed the ones at the F&W too. In fact i ate far too many of them

I've never seen them on Citricos menu.

Our daughter loves the escargot at Chefs and has been ordering it there since she was young. We prefer lunch there.

I just did a search for Escargot in the Menu section and the only restaurant that came up was CdF. :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

on this site gives you the ability to search the online menus for certain ingredients. As OP suspected, it turns up only Chefs de France for escargots. I also did a quick search for lumache. I have I had the classic escargots style dish under this name in a couple of Italian restaurants. (It means snails in Italian but is also used for a large shell shaped pasta.)

That's my absolute favorite item at Chefs de and the only reason I keep going back! :lmao:

Not sure if they're still there, but back in 2003 I had delicious escargots at Fulton's in DTD.
