Escargot

When we were in Epcot for the Food and Wine Festival last year, my 9 year old tried the escargot and LOVED it. We are going back in a few months and all he talks about is having it again. Is it sold anywhere in France other than a sit down restaurant? He wants it as a snack or counter servicetype thing. I looked at the menus and can't seem to find it...

Unfortunately there aren't any CS places at France except for the bakery, and that just sells... bakery stuff. Bakery stuff is delicious, but not what you're looking for.

They have escargot at Chefs de France and Bistro de Paris. Bistro is a bit fancy, though, so you'd probably be better off at Chefs. We enjoy having lunch there, especially if you can get a table by the window, which we've always been able to without even needing to request one. We've also found it's no problem to walk up here, even right at lunch time. That may not be the case if your trip is in mid-summer or Christmas, but when we were there last May we had no problem. It's a pretty restaurant with a nice view, and it's a good break in the middle of the day.

Chefs de has an awesome escargot. You might want to see if you can get some to go -- we've done that before with the beer cheese soup at Le Cellier. Good luck.

Congrats on having a kid that likes this stuff. With garlic & butter I don't know what's NOT to like, but many adults are grossed out by it. Yummy stuff
