Hi everyone!
This is my first pre trip report, but I have been lurking on this board for sometime.

The cast of characters for this trip are:

Thats me, Jackie, and my husband Tom on our last trip to Disney in January of 2009.

A little about us-

Me- I am a 28 year old dietitian. Most people think this means I eat only vegetables, but that is not true. I work in hospital with surgical oncology patients and I love my job! This is an awful picture of me in Epcot.

DH- Tom- He is a 30 year old PhD in clinical psychology and just got promoted to assistant professor. He does research on brain imaging.

We also have one other member of our family not joining us on our trip.

Shea, our beagle. She is the worlds most spoiled dog, and thinks her entire purpose in life is to snuggle. She also thinks she's a cat and spends hours sitting on our window sills.

We just booked a trip to Florida from February 9- 15th! We are currently planning 2 days at Universal to see WWOHP, we are HUGE HP fans. We will then follow that up with 4 days at WDW!

Up next...

Where are we staying and our Disney history!

Hmm no visitors yet! Oh well!

How are we getting there and where are we staying.

We are flying down on Soutwest on Wednesday night February 9th. I plan to get a cheap hotel on hotwire as we get closer to leaving.

Bright and early the next morning we will head over to Universal and check into Royal Pacific Resort!

We are very excited to see Harry Potter!

We will spend all day Thursday and about 1/2 the day Friday touring Universal.

From there we will head to Disney and check into....

Coronado Springs Resort! I am very excited to be staying here! We will be on the free dining discount

Now a question, I had been looking into renting a car to get to Universal, but it is somehow cheaper to rent one for the whole week. I saw a good price on Hotwire, but I'm not sure if I can find a better deal if I wait till closer to our trip.

Hi! :wave2: I'll jump in for the ride! We're going in Feb too so I'll be curious to see if any plans match up. Jealous that you guys will be checking out WWoHP though. I'd love to check that out. I hope it won't be too cold down in Florida in Feb.

Thanks for joining in! I am also hoping for warm weather!

Well, I've been super busy with the holidays coming up. I have now finished all my shopping, wrapped all my presents, and baked 12 dozen cookies this weekend!

Then yesterday, I took my DH to the Steeler vs Jets game as a very belated brithday present. He is a Jet fan living in the heart of Steeler Country, but we had fun. I did not freeze to death, and I enjoyed people watching.

Onto our trip planning- I have made ADRs but I don't think I love them and forsee tweaking in my future.

Here are our current plans

2/11- Today, we will start at Universal, and the plan to move to disney mid day. I currently have 5 pm ADR at Kona Cafe, which I think I may give up in favor of CS so we can head to the magic kingdom and see Mickey and Minne's house one last time as this is their last day

2/12- I have a 2 pm reservation at Sci Fi Dine In

2/13-5:40 dinner at Teppan Edo. DH asked if I could get dinner in Canada (last week) and I laughed at hime

2/14: 8:05 breakfast at Crystal Palace, 9:40 PM dinner at California grill. My current plan is to pay these OOP and have apps and drinks at CG

2/15- Last day :sad1: Yak and Yeti for lunch at 12:30.

So those are my current plans. I feel like I have too much asian style food (Kona, Teppano Edo, Yak and Yeti). Also I'm not sure Yand Y lunch and Sci Fi lunch are the best use of TS credits.

I am looking for suggestions for a 1 credit non park dinner for Valentine's day, late, so that we can see Wishes!
