Hi my fiancee and I want to get married at Disney next September(2009) we want to make sure we can afford it first though. I know that the cost of an Escape Wedding will be roughly $4500 and that covers up to 4 guests but does anybody know how much it is for each additional guest? we are planning on 9 total. Thanks!!!!!:wizard:

Hi there, I'm also having an Escape wedding next September and the price incudes up to 18 people in most locations!
Have you been on the Disney weddigns web site? They have prices and try making a wish book it's helpful!
:cutie:

I did go but when i went to the part for FAQ's it said that the price was only for the couple and four guests!!!!
My cousin got married there a few years ago and the price included 8. Wish I got married when we went 2 years ago!!!:rotfl2:

hey congrats on the wedding!

I am having an Escape wedding in December 2008. We do not have to pay anything for additional guests, its just you have to buy extra champagne or sparkling cider for additional guests. I think the package comes with 1 bottle of champagne, which is enough for 4 guests. Its kind of deceiving but you don't have to pay for a bigger cake or anything like that.

Soooo if you don't want to add any extra champagne, you could pretty much get away with $4500. We subbed our bottle of champagne for two bottles of sparkling cider because our wedding is at 10 a.m. We don't want to get drunk that early . There are a lot of extras that Disney does get you on though. Like a boutineers for your groomsmen or bouquets for your bridesmaids, and extra photography or videography is not included in the package price. But if you could do without all that stuff, its actually a pretty good deal!

Thanks for the heads up. I figured we would sub cider for champagne too! how do the bottles cost? I love the added "extras" but i decided that i am not having a bridesmaid or groomsmen( i think anyway) the info that you gave me might have just changed my minds on a lot of things thanks a bunch!!!!!

Cider is about $24/bottle. The "Champagne" (it's actually Iron Horse Fairy Tale Cuvee) is about $60/bottle.

THANKS LURKYLOO!!!!!!! I have some BIG changes to make. I can invite a few more people! now i am really excited!!!!!!

:woohoo:

The "Champagne" (it's actually Iron Horse Fairy Tale Cuvee) is about $60/bottle.

Yeah, but if you go to the little store at the Poly (and maybe some of the other resorts) you can get it for $24 a bottle yourself! ;)

the first bottle is included in the package, but yes, you can bring additional bottles with you. I was so not thinking about things like that the morning of my wedding though - we forgot to have someone record our wedding with my sister's camera - it sat in the bride's vestibule thru the entire ceremony, and then she didn't record anything at dinner or our fireworks cruise either :confused3 So much for that!! At least we got a lot of pictures!!

On the Escapes wedding, can you have more than the 20 guests? Do they count a child under 5 as a person in the 20? If so how much more is it per person? Can you bring your own bouquet and boutineers?

If you have more than 20 in your party it is classed as a custom (Wishes) wedding and the prices go up accordingly, with accommodation minimums and a minimum spend. All guests are counted, no matter what their age.

As for bouquets and such, I've just had my agreement and I'm pretty sure any additional floral has to come from Disney - but I'm a bit tired so I may be wrong :)

You can get your additional floral from an outside vendor if you're not having the wedding outside (i.e., if you're getting married at the Wedding Pavilion).

It used to be you could use outside vendors anywhere but in the parks, but now all floral and entertainment at outdoor weddings must be provided by Disney.

That's ok I love there floral selections. Does anybody know how much the officiants are? I emailed a few of them but i am an impatient girl!!!!

Nevermind...Lol I feel dumb. all i had to do was click on it and it brought me to the site
