We were quoted $450 for the escape package

He quoted us the same! For 3 hours! Hey...do you know, does this include the photos or what? Or do you have to purchase a disc with the photos? I am waiting on him to e-mail us the agreement.

I believe this includes all photos on disc black and white and colour photos.

Im sure its just his site but when I looked at the pics on there for disney weddings they all looked super pixilated and, well, I am assuming thats just how he put them on the site but they look crummy. Also there was one with the bouquet and thank you sign and there was a big footprint in the sand by the bouquet. Just my opinion though.

Another big shout out for Randy!!!
We used him for our VR and we also had a TTD session with him at the Poly. I couldn't have been happier with our photos - we still get so many compliments on them. Randy is the sweetest of men too. Highly recommended!!!

Has randy ever worked for Disney as their wedding photographer?
We had the escape package in 2008 the package came with a photographer and pictures and we had Randy!

Im sure my wife may have already posted about our wedding on here and the problems we had with them cancelling it/ or not booking it at all but after reading through the wedding boards as my wife and I are going to renew our vows " I will give her the wedding she deserves not the mess we got" I keep reading how Randy is not a actual Disney wedding photographer and so I wonder why and how we ended up with him??

He was the saving grace of our wedding and we would use him again in a heart beat in fact I wouldn't use any body else, ( not after he managed to get my wife to lie on the piano in the Grand Floridian wedding conference centre ) lol

We used the Disney photographers and apart from getting my name wrong all afternoon the pics were really good!
Not sure if you can still do it but we bought an extension to the time to allow some additional shots in other locations so we had more choice.

I'm wondering if maybe they booked him on your behalf since they screwed up the actual wedding...maybe all their photographers were booked and to be able to pull off the day, they had to book an outside photographer? I'm glad that at least you got pictures that you love!!!

If you use an outside photographer for an Escape wedding you give up the Disney wedding photography that comes with the package, but you can swap it for photography at your dessert party or a 1-hour Enhanced Portrait Session at any Disney resort.

Carrie or anyone...does anyone know if this is still the case? I know they're always changing their policies..

My friend has just started planning her Escape wedding for Feb of next year..

Randy did my daughter's Escape wedding 8 yrs ago & did a wonderful job. It was all digital & we own the discs, so we were able to print as much as we wanted. He did both color & black & white for her & the pics were beautiful. They had a couple of hours between the wedding & the dinner, so they used their limo to go around to different resorts & he took pics all over the place, including a beautiful pic of her on the grand staircase at the Grand Floridian (they got married at Sunset Point at the Poly). I highly recommend Randy.
