Escape Wedding Music

Hi everyone!

I'm hoping some Escape brides can help me with this.

I'm hoping to book my ceremony for the Wedding Pavillion, but have some questions regarding music. I know it says if you book the wedding pavillion an organist is also included in the extra price, but do you still get to keep the violinist or is the violinist completely replaced by the organist? Just asking as I was wondering about music at the cake cutting reception. Obviously when the violinist is involved they would be at the cake cutting, but with an organist they will obviously only be in the wedding pavillion. Does anyone have any information on this?

Also, are you able to pick your own music for the ceremony or do Disney make you choose from a pre-selected list of songs? This is really important to me as there are certain songs that I must have at my wedding!

We have just submitted our music selections this week for our April Escape wedding.

We are also using the Wedding Pavillion. You have the organist at WP for the ceremony and the violinist at the cake and champagne celebration so I believe.

When you receive your questionnaire you will get a list of songs, both traditional and Disney. Our planner advised us that these are not the only options available if you require another selection, just ask if it's available and your planner should check with entertainment.

From our choices they do have a large pop/modern selection anof course all Disney songs!

That's a relief to know you still get the violinist for the cake cutting, I was worried about having no music at all!

It's a shame they don't have a link to the music choices online. I am a huge Beatles fan and they wrote some of the best love songs ever written so it's really important to me to have some of my favourite songs!

You can certainly get Beatles music as that's included in our song choices

Poppy, would you mind posting the song choices? We didn't get anything extra in our planning kit other than Disney songs and traditional songs! I was a bit bummed, because DF and I are so not traditional and really want our personalities to reflect in our song choices.

Of course not!

We are using all Disney songs for our ceremony as I wouldn't want it any other way

But, for the cake and champagne celebration we have requested a mix of Disney and contemporary love songs, using 'All You Need is Love' for our first dance as we are both big Beatles fans. We've also got 'Your Song' by Elton John in there and I'm going to ask if we can have 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' as I love Wizard of Oz! They have quite a few in entertainment - we also wanted 'God Only Knows' by Beach Boys but that wasn't available. I would say the most well known ones are available.

Ifama - We only got the standard list sent through too with our questionnaire - I was just cheeky and asked what I could change! And your wedding is exactly one week before mine!

Poppy thankyou so much for letting me know what song choices you have - it kind of helps me knowing what sort of songs they have on the list. The Beatles songs I want aren't very well known so I feel kind of bummed because I have a feeling they won't play it
