Has anyone tried to have a Wishes wedding for a small group of guests? Since all the upgrades you can add for an escape wedding can add up to the minimum of a wishes wedding. How much do dessert parties and wishes cruise usually cost? :bride:

We are doing a Wishes wedding for around 25 guests. Our invitations just went out so it may be a few more. We are actually a little under our minimum right now so I am pretty happy. A dessert party runs about $1,500 and counts toward your minimum if it is on your wedding day. We decided the price would be about the same as an Escape with all of our extras. So far I am really happy that we went with the Wishes since I have been able to customize everything.

if u dont mind, can u give me a break down of what u r doing? how mucheach thing cost? Im trying to see if i can stick with the min. too thanks!n :cheer2:

Here is about where everything is. I think these are including taxes and fees. With all of this we are still about $1,400 under the minimum. This is based on 25 guests so I am waiting to see how many we end up with before making any changes. I went to the PS and threw in everything I thought I wanted so I was surprised to be under. If my guest count goes up there are lots of things we can cut out of this. We aren't have attendants or characters or any type of fancy transportation so that is helping.

Hope this helps! :)

Floral ~$1,800
Includes Brides bouquet, corsages and boutonnieres for the parents, throwing petals, aisle petals, 9 centerpieces, 2 upgraded linens, and gel vases for the dessert party

Ceremony ~$3,800
SBP, Violinist, one way transportation for the guests

Cake ~ $400 for the 2 tier Mickey Wave

Reception ~ $5,000
Ipod set up, BOC bar (including bar tender), cheese display plus two appetizers for pre-reception, buffet dinner, bus transportation to Epcot,

Dessert Party ~ $2,000
Viewing fee, set up, Ice cream sundaes bar, photography

Thanks! that's very helpful!. Think it's possible to do it with 10 of us? we are getting the cinderella coach and adding Magic kingdom photoshoot.

I think you probably could keep to the minimums pretty well. I think there may be a small party fee but I don't think that is very much. There is a lot in my list that could be cut such as the tossing petals in paper cones are running about $9 a person. The appetizers for the pre-reception is another $18 a person. There is a lot of little stuff that adds up.

My biggest concern is not being able to meet the min. requirements for the food and beverage. We are willing to splurge. :confused3 So confused and don't know what to do!

If you haven't bought it already I would really recommend the Passporter's Guide to Disney Weddings e book. It answered so many of my questions!
