I woke up this morning to 1/2 the coffee in the pot, and 1/2 the coffee on the kitchen counter and the floor I really hate it when this happens!!! I sure hope the rest of the day isn't going to be like this

Morning Happy Tax Day... we got ours done last weekend too and mailed..

Yesterday was so busy.. I worked at Meals on Wheels for most of the day.. my family loves the reward.. i got leftover donuts and croisants.. two boxes of each.. the boys were so happy and they are almost all gone.. Geoff got home from school and ate 3 donuts and 2 croisants..i guess he was hungry..

Eric had a track meet so I brought him 2 sandwiches made on the croisants.. it was so cold watching him pole vault.. I I gave him my jacket.. the poor kid was freezing.. then I called Geoff and asked him to bring Eric's jacket and a sleeping bag so he could keep warm.. they make the kids wear the shorts and sleeveless shirts.. brrrrr


DanaUK - Oh man....I'm just going to miss you by about two weeks!.. we leave WDW August 1st..

NCB - thanks for keeping us current on FIL. I am glad he is doing well and enjoying his time....


SLO - sorry about your coffee pot..is it old???

Good morning everyone,
I am really tired this morning, we did not get in until 12:30 last night and I am shattered. We went to Birmingham yesterday afternoon and did a little shopping, I bought some pins from the Disney Store and did my 1st pin trade there with a cast memebr too. They have only just started pin trading in the stores this week and I was the stores 1st ever trade!! I traded for a flying Tinker Bell pin which was great as I was actually going into the store to buy that pin anyway! I also finally got my iphone yesterday too . I have wanted one since Pete got his last year, but I had to wait until the contract ran out on my current phone so I could upgrade to one. So today I need to set it up, transfer my itunes songs onto it and download some games (oh and the Disney dining menus and the 4 park maps!!)
Then in the evening we went to see our favourite comedian, Al Murray who has a character called the pub landlord, he is very funny. After the show we got to meet him and we had our picture taken with him whilst he signed our programme which was nice.

ibouncetoo and Geffric I can't believe I am going to miss you guys by about 2 weeks each! What a shame.

Slo I hope you managed to get all the coffee in the pot this morning! I hate it when that happens too.

Scotlass yes we have room for a wee one. Although I think I may have to translate for my American friends here! Yes we have room for another small person to join our group!!

Well I should go, it is getting towards the end of my school break so I think I will have to do some school work today. Have a great day everyone.

Not to much going on - a very uneventful week.

Oh...I know what I want to share
My waterbill is normally around $95, and lately we've been really needing to same money. So 2 weeks ago I told my family that I'm only doing laundry when I really have to (I normally do laundry all the time so I can say I don't have laundry). I've done very little laundry, and I got my water bill yesterday and it was $65This wasn't with a whole month of doing this, so I'll be curious on what my next water bill will be. I hate having all this laundry hovering over my head, but if it saves me $30-45 a month then it'll be worth it

Evening all, so far this evening I have been busy playing with my new iphone!! I have downloaded all the park map apps, the disney dining app, converted all my songs from my ipod, downloaded some games (I love the air hockey!), set my facebook and google mail up on it and am now trying to figure out how to get a decent ring tone!! I really should be doing some housework though. Petes parents are coming for dinner tomorrow so I need to make sure the house is spotless (otherwise my MIL will comment, I don't know why I bother though as each visit I think I have cleaned everything and she always finds something to comment on! Oh well!!)

But we will def. need a break from each other.

not sure when Pete gets back from deployment but not sure it will be that early in September. Won't know for sure until he gets overseas and gets his orders etc. But I will keep you posted. It would be fun if we could meet up there...

Morning everyone,
So for the rest of last night and this morning I have been playing on my iphone. I have downloaded some games now as well as the disney stuff! I am loving playing air hockey!! But this morning I found the coolest app for a compulsive planner such as myself. It is an app that allows you to put files from your PC onto your iphone. So now I can copy and paste all my disney trip plans onto my iphone and I can also copy and paste all my daily touring plans that I create in RideMax into word and then keep all my daily touring plans on my iphone too!! I realise how sad this must seem, but I am really excited about this!!

Scotlass The 'youse' thing makes me laugh. Although I live in the middle of England we have a huge Scottish population in our town (we have a Rangers supporters club house at the bottom of our road), anyway I teach 8 year olds and a lot of them are from Scotland or have Scottish parents, they use the word 'youse' a lot! I am forever correcting it in their English books!!

Cheeringmom We leave WDW on the 24th August. We have to be back in England to start back at work the following week.

Slo How is the weather where you live? Do you still have snow? Spring is definately here where I am. The blossom is out on the tree and plants are finally growing in the garden. It is really overcast today though, so not great outside!

So, what is everyone doing this weekend?
I am crazy busy with errands tomorrow morning since I've worked so much this week. Then I take the girls tomorrow afternoon to grandmas, to spend the night, because Kevin and I are going to a wedding. I may attend the actual wedding after dropping off the girls, but I'm not sure yet, because I need to check in on my dad (my mom's gone all day) and be at Mass by 4:15 so I can speak to the congregation about being a lector (this is to try and recruit new people to lector). Then after that I go straight to the wedding reception. There's ALOT going on tomorrow!!!!

Yesterday I worked at Meals on Wheels and then enjoyed the outside. Today I am thinking of getting some flowers and planting them. OOO that feels so good to say that..

Last night was Troop Committee and both Dh and I decide that was the last one.. one to Venturing for us!!

This weekend, Eric's band is playing at DeKalb tonight and then at Hoffman Estates in Sat.. Geoff and DH are going to Spring Camperee.. so I am driving all weekend with Eric..

but I feel like playing flowers.. so I am off to Home Depot and buy some and then plant this afternoon..

Well it is 5pm here and I am sitting down with a small glass of wine mentally preparing myself for Pete's parents coming over for dinner. Now I like his parents, but every time they come to our house for a visit his mum always finds something to pick fault with. Last time she had a go at me as we mentioned that we were planning a trip to WDW next Christmas with our best friends: "Don't you think you should go to other places than Disney instead for a change" was what she said then, never mind the fact that if we weren't planning the summer trip (which I won't be mentioning!) we wouldn't have been to WDW for 5 years. So, I have cleaned the house (I have hoovered 3 times today and washed and laundered all the rugs), made sure the toilets are spotless (a previous fault was there was still a tiny amount of toilet cleaner on the rim) and have mopped all the floors. So I will let you know later what this evenings fault is! My personal bet is on the fact that I got an iphone (despite the fact that Pete already has one, but that will probably be the fault!!)

Evening all,
Well yesterdays visit with the inlaws went quite well. I was not really criticised. MIL didn't moan about anything to do with the house (even complemented the new pond), didn't comment on the iphone and didn't comment on the fact that we had booked another Disney trip (OK, I might have called it an Orlando trip and stressed that we were staying in a hotel where we could see wild animals from our balcony!) and didn't moan about the food (the only slight dig I guess was that Pete had cooked and not me.) So all in all a sucessful evening.

Today we have had a beautiful day here in England. I have been out in the garden doing some tidying up and the garden is looking a lot nicer. I did go to the garden centre to get the rest of the cobbles to finish off around the pond but they didn't have the ones I wanted so I will have to keep going back until they have some in. This evening I am going to have a relax as tomorrow I need to get back into school mode, do my planning and get ready for the next term. We only have 5 weeks then get a week off, then 7 weeks until the summer. I think I am going to be counting the days this term. I hope it goes quickly.
