Hi everyone. Been very busy at work and home, so I have not posted.

Welcome back Slo. I am glad you had a good trip. I am sorry that the food was not up to par. We always think that Disneyland is okay foodwise - but that things would be much better at WDW. Sorry to hear about the not so wonderful experience.

Is anyone, besides me, sorta happy to see Christmas commercials on TV? I like Christmas commercials - they sound cheery, they look cheery, and they are not the normal ho-hum commercials. We DVR almost everything though, so I rarely see them


My employee called me yesterday to apologize for what happened Wednesday - I was very grateful!!! I do like this girl, and I'm really hoping she's with me for awhile. She promised me that it would never happen again - I hope she's right!!!

BB - There are some places at WDW that we like the food, but there's not many of them. If you think the way you do about DL food, than you would probably feel the same about WDW food. The biggest problem with me is the food in many places just isn't worth what they are charging. I don't mind paying more for food if it's so good that it's blowing me out of the water, but when it's just so so, and I"m spending $100 for dinner, that's a major problem with me.



Well, I gotta run and try to do a small workout today. I still have a headache, so I don't want to overdo it. Have a good day!!

Morning Slo! I'm trying to decide whether to change my resort from the Pop to the Poly with this new deal. I save a lot of money but I still have to spend more money...does that make sense??? I don't know what to do!

It felt so good sleeping in this morning!!!!

I'm sitting here with a very sore left hand this morning - I drove a nail into the webbing between my thumb and pointer finger . I was using a brad gun while closing up a picture, and it slipped, and the nail went right into my hand. At first I couldn't see the nail, and I getting really nervous, but then I saw a tiny amount of it, and I was able to pull it out myself - thank God!!!! I wasn't in the mood to going to the emergency room When the gun slipped, it also scraped up areas of my thumb, so that whole area had to be really wrapped up yesterday - not fun!!!!!!


Not to much is going on around here this weekend.
I'm going to go to work for a short while today, and then tonight I may take the girls to see HSM3. Tomorrow I need to go to Sam's Club and get some things for work, so I have stuff to do, just nothing real exciting.


SeeWhat - Congrats on getting in to the college program!!!!! A DISer on the Fireman's Wives thread is in the college program right now (she's engaged to a fireman). So now I'll know 2 people in the college program!!!

Thanks! I'm full food and beverage service so i'm like a restaraunt hostess. I hope it's at the Poly I know it's not much but it's my first real job and it's for Disney!

It's chilly willy outside
It's hard taking Sophie out first thing in the morning when I still warm and toasty from my bed. The minute I set outside, I wake up real fast I sure wish there was another way with her, but there just isn't. We thought about attaching a clothes line to a poll, and then attaching her leash to it so she could be outside for awhile. But I know, for a fact, that she wouldn't go potty without me. She would stand right by the door, with a look on her face, like she was totally abandoned So, I guess I'm stuck taking her out. Stephanie trys to help, but Sophie doesn't take her seriously, and doesn't always potty for her. Sophie is getting a little better with Kevin, but generally, only if I"m not home. If he takes her out, and I"m home, she many times won't go for him either. Sophie is a real mama's dog

Well, it's time for me to start thinking about what to do for breakfast.

We went and HSM3 yesterday, and even though it's not my favorite one, I still enjoyed it alot. I was a little teary eyed at the end, in knowing this was the last one I really enjoyed the HSM franchise alot!!!!!

Hmm I haven't seen any of the HSM movies. I'm just a little wary, I don't understand why someone would make a musical about the worst years of a person's life Just kidding! I think I may check out the first one and see what all the hype is about. The song from the second one gets stuck in my head after hearing it during the HSM2 parade at Disneyland so many times. I annoy my mom by walking around singing "we're all in this together!"

I am waiting at the Roanoke Airport for the flight home.. Geoff loves the area.. he was talking about the hills and the mountains he wants to hike and climb.. on the other hand.. he is very unsure about the culture...he may be too midwest ( blue) for the school..

Yikes... getting ready for college. Time just passes too quickly. My BIL and SIL in TN have a senior at USC in CA and a freshman at USC in South Carolina. I can't fathom having kids on different coasts.

Also, the first time I actually met them was when they were out in California for a business trip. They had the kids with them and were doing a day at Disney so we drove out. Their daughter (the freshman) was just a little older than Lily is now.

SeeWhat - You should definitly watch the HSM movies I don't want to build them up to be the most fantastic movies ever, but I do enjoy them I think the characters are alot of fun, and I enjoy the music alot!!!!

geffric - The hand is healing slowly, thanks for asking!!! The webbing between the thumb and pointer finger is such a tender area, and you don't realize how much you use it, until you can't. I'm always so afraid that if I strain that area to much, than I will break something open, and it will bleed again. With me using my hands 100% of the time when I work, I need this to heal ASAP!!!!!

Good morning all, just sitting here freezing my butt off and trying to keep kids quiet so mom can sleep as she works nights. I so love the warm weather and we don't get it much here. Thanks I know that it's not the most impressive job or anything but at least it will get me in with Disney and then I can do the professional internship later. I'm just excited to get to work for Disney everyday! Hey, a job's a job! This will be my first real job too. So i'm still kind of proud of myself even if other people think it's lame
