I wish I was going.. i really like the haloween there better than xmas.... i am not even booked for this summer.. yikes.. wish those kids would figure out what they are doing and when so i could book a trip.. bTW I have a few, very few ( like 9) use them or lose them points that expire 3/31/2009.. if anybody needs them or could use them let me know..

Well gang, I finally turned on my furnace this morning - it's cold in here!!!
Kevin and I said we didn't want to put it on until after vacation, but it was 58 degrees when I woke up My hands just can't deal with that, and I can't wear gloves inside - that wouldn't work well

Do any of you feel the need to pack unneccesary food to take on the plane? I do, and I don't know why, but I do. The girls have several snacks (2 of each - one for both ways), and I bought myself some things last night at Walgreens. In the end, we don't eat all of them, but I feel the need to be prepared - weird I know!!!!



cheeringmom - Have you started packing yet? I always start packing 2 weeks before any trip (when I say packing, I mean laying out clothes. I don't actually "pack" until a couple days before we leave). I really enjoyed our cruise last year - I hope you have as great of a time as we had

Danauk - I have almost everything laid out, and starting tomorrow, they will go into the suitcases. I need to pack our carry-on bags (mine and the girls), and start planning a grocery list, so we know what to buy when we get to Orlando. How about you? Have you packed yet?

Question.........
Do any of you feel the need to pack unneccesary food to take on the plane? I do, and I don't know why, but I do. The girls have several snacks (2 of each - one for both ways), and I bought myself some things last night at Walgreens. In the end, we don't eat all of them, but I feel the need to be prepared - weird I know!!!!

Yep we always bring snacks for the plane.. one never knows when the plane will be delayed or canceled or sit on the runway from hours waiting for a gate.. so i take snacks - just in case..

Morning..

This is gonna be a busy week.. Eric has marching band practice ( last one) after football practice today.. Geoff has his intern job and then getting ready for the OA haunted hike.. the next 4 days is pretty much the same for him.. work then haunted hike set up, work and tear down..plus Eric and Scott are leaving Sat for the marching Band competition at U of Ill on Sat..

And i get to cook, clean, laundry and have some time to myself.. think I WILL finally get to the cruise pics and sort and post a few..

Hey all.....I"m leaving in 2 days!!!!

I'm almost ready, but not - it that makes any sense
I'm feeling pretty comfortable about what I have lefted out to pack, but I"m not comfortable with how I"m leaving the house. I normally like to dust and vaccuum before I leave, but there's no way that is going to get done, and I"m not going to stress myself out with doing it I did clean all the bathrooms yesterday morning, so I just need to touch those up tomorrow night. I will definitly vaccuum and mop the kitchen floor - I must come home to a clean kitchen floor!!!!!!!

We need to leave early today so I can take Sophie to the groomers. I was going to wait until we got home, but she accidentally tore my mom's coat yesterday with her long nails, so I decided to go now (my mom is watching her while we are gone, and I don't want her ruining anything else. She probably wouldn't, but I'm paranoid now )

Hey all - I'm leaving tomorrow!!!!!!!
I leaving with a pretty bad cold though - so that doesn't make me happy
I"m taking Zicam, Sudafed during the day, and Nyquil at night (well not tonight, because I won't wake up then to leave at 4:45am). I"m trying to fight it, and I hope the Zicam will help. I do not want this cold lingering for our entire trip

The girls are 100% packed, after I had to revamp 50% of everything I had laid out. The reason for that is because I looked at Orlandos weather and it is going to be low 80s Sunday, high 70s Monday, low 70s Tuesday and Wednesday, and I'm assuming similiar weather for the rest of the week. So I had to replan, because I had shorts and tank tops out for the girls. Now they have all short sleeve shirts and capris

This morning I need to change all our sheets (I like coming home to clean sheets) and pack my suitcase (which needs to be slightly revamped too). Then tonight I need to pack our carry-ons, vaccuum and scrub the kitchen floor, and then go to bed. I hope I sleep, because I can never sleep the night before we leave. I'm always so paranoid that I didn't pack something, that something is going to be left on, that I won't hear the alarm and we won't get up on time, and the list goes on and on - I"m such a worry wart!!!!!!


Well, I gotta go jump in the shower and get myself moving - I have a lot to do before I go to work

Hope you feel better SLO and have a great trip.. I would bring sweatshirts or lite jackets for the evening. Last year, it was beautiful during the day but once the sun went down I needed a jacket or sweatshirt.

really no need to obsess.. there is a WalMart and a Target close by so if you do need anything, it is there..

My colds not gone, but I would definitly say it's better and on it's way to being gone. I'm eating a PopTart right now so I can take another one before we go, and I'll take them continusly during the day today. Hopefully by tomorrow I'll be even better {{fingers crossed}}

Well, I must finish my snack, and then jump into the shower. The limo will be here at 4:45am, and my biggest challenge is still ahead of me - getting the girls and up and ready Stephanie will be easy, because she'll be excited, but Katie will be a nightmare - she IS NOT a morning person at all

Slo I guess you have left for the airport now, but I hope you have a fab trip!!

Today I guess I need to pack as well, or at least sort out what clothes I am taking. My SIL, BIL and nephew are on their way to visit for the day so I will have to do that this evening.
