Wallyb I love a good steak restaurant (and I love nice bottles of wine!!) Have you eaten at the Yachtsmans Steakhouse at WDW? I love that place. When we ate at the California Grill one Christmas eve our friends bought us a bottle of wine that cost $250!!!! It was nice wine and the waiter peeled the lable off and stuck it on a wine menu for us!! I think he could tell we didn't often drink $250 bottles of wine!!

Well after writing my trip report over on the DLP board I realised that it was another disser who was with us when we were the 1st to get in the park on Tuesday. We managed to get her and her daughter in our photo, then a few minutes later we rode Space Mountain and her daughter sat behind us (there was only the 3 of us on it!) and we were in the picture she took of her daughter!!

Yes - we always try to hit the Yachtsman when we do WDW.
Last time we went though I was not so impressed. We did try Citrico's for the first time last trip - loved that. California Grill is always a hit with us as well.
we never bought a $250 bottle of wine though. We did spend $275 per person on dinner in a "fancy schmany" place in Hawaii.

Good morning guys,

I hope you are all having a great weekend. I'm still sorting out all the washing from the trip and sorting out the food shopping. Pete is busy re building the rabbit run in the garden. Yesterday he dug it all out and today he is building new brick walls! At the moment all 4 rabbits are in the house in a temporary cage, much to the disgust of the cats!!

Today I need to do more of my more detailed trip reports on the DLP board, plus I need to phone the dentist!! I was eating breakfast this morning when one of my fillings fell out and I accidentally swallowed it!!

Wallyb have you decided what you are going to wear yet? I hope you have a fab dinner. How many years are you celebrating?

Right I better go, the washing isn't going to fold and iron itself!

Thank you!! Yes the Castle is Sleeping Beauty's or to give it the correct title Le Chateau de la Belle au Bois Dormant. The cube shaped trees are from Sleeping Beauty too.

well the first week at the new job is over.. I am in Philly next week..providing American flys next week..
I don't think I'll be dissing during the day .. too much work and stuff to fit in... But I have been working downtown all week and wearing lady clothes.. and I have one thing to say about that... MY FEET HURT..
I am so used to wearing gymn shoes all the time and I HAVE BEEN WEARINg LADY SHOES... and jewelry and make up.. OY!!!!

Boys are doing a camping in the rain, snow and cold this weekend. Geoff's Eagle ceremony was wonderful. I post picture later. I got a new laptop and need to get used to it. Also had to buy a new laptop bag as this is a wide screen and it won't fit in my old one..

Thanks for sharing the Eagle pictures. I worked towards becoming a Queens Guide when I was Geoffs age so I know how much work it all is. You must be very proud.

We went out to the mall last night and had dinner at TGIFridays - my meal was great, but the music in the restaurant was really really loud :eek:

The girls brought it up first, and then I was glad it wasn't only me thinking it. I had a coupon for a free appetizer, and then we had a gift card, so our meal cost us $9.95 :woohoo:

The meal I ate was the Parmesan Crusted Chicken - it was so yummy!!! :goodvibes

After dinner we went into the mall and shopped for new gym shoes for me, and new white shoes for Stephanie (I realised yesterday morning that Steph had no shoes to wear with her First Communion dress :eek:

). We successful and found them all :thumbsup2

Then we just bummed around the mall for awhile and bought a couple other items.

The mall always cracks me up when you go on Friday and Saturday nights. So may older middle school, and then the highschool kids are there, and they think they are so cool :cool2:

Did we think we were that cool at that age??? :scratchin

I'm sure we did!!! Some of the girls we see are dressed like :eek:

. It's cold outside and some girls are in short short skirts and flip-flops :eek:

Were we that goofy??? :scratchin

I was in my young 20's when we went downtown to the bars (I wore ridiculously short skirts :eek:

but not flip-flops :sad2:

I wore heels) I definitly know I wasn't younger than 21 when I dressed like this - my family and Kevin's family know to many people - someone would definitly have seen me, and then everyone would have found out about it :scared1:
