Escape photography, Sea Breeze Point and Boardwalk

Just found two pix on the Roots' blog showing some BoardWalk locations you don't see very often:

ooh that big giant stairway... what a great place to get all the guests in one picture. is that the hotel stairway?

... and WHY have i never been over to the boardwalk before???

Don't feel bad! I had never been over to the BW area before the wedding trip either (well, actually the trip 8 months before the wedding to check it out after we booked SBP).

Now, even though our fave resort is AKL, we ALWAYS make an effort to either stay a couple of nights over there or at least spend some time (eating!:rotfl:) or just meandering about. We now LOVE the BW area!

according to the disney wedding blog, the wedding location for this couple is SBP. can someone get me to this tree?

Judging from the photo, I THINK that's on the Beach/Yacht club side, near the bridge that leads to Boardwalk/Epcot. I could be wrong though. :)

Here are a few of our favorites. We had DPS and Randy Chapman.

Is that "THE TREE" that I spy on the lower right handside of Amyy's shot on the bridge looking out to The Yachtclub?

Yes, that is The Tree down on the water near the bridge between Sea Breeze Point and the Beach Club, on the Beach Club side. :thumbsup2

Sorry, I can't resist... the Roots just posted two more photos of great-looking BoardWalk-area locations that you don't see a lot...

We also had Randy Chapman as our photographer - we had photos on the beach at the Yacht Club as well as at various points around the Boardwalk area :goodvibes

Sorry, I went a bit mad! We don't have as many different locations as others because we also did photos at POFQ, the Grand Floridian, and the Contemporary :D

We did a photo shoot with the Roots at the BWI last October. They took us around to some great spots. (I may not be so photogenic, but thankfully their locations and my DH are! lol)

This spot was amazing - I remember it being across the bridge over by the Swan. Looking at Google Maps it seems like it may have been across the bridge over toward the Dolphin/YC. I was in a bit of a daze (I was super nervous about being in front of the camera), so I'm sorry that I don't remember exactly which spot we were in.

A farther off shot with more of the scenery:

Same spot in B&W - I love the depth it adds.

There was great lighting in front of this tree - it's near the BW sign. If you look closely you can see the Dolphin in the background. I was thankful they ever-so-skillfully covered up the monstrosity with the tree ;)

I love the softness of the colors in the breezeway

This is a more popular location, but I like the perspective they had:

Near Jellyrolls, another spot with great light colors

Outside the entrance, near the parking lot

All the beautiful pictures are bringing back wonderful memories! I don't have my pictures on my laptop since it crashed but I can send you the shutterfly link. Randy Chapman took our pictures and he did a great job!

PryncessChrysty the colours in your picutres are gorgeous. There are some lovely spots that I have never seen shots of before.
