So we decided... Escape wedding at Sea Breeze Point.
Included is 2 hours of photography.

OK... I have never been to the boardwalk, so I don't really know what sort of pictures I can get or what I might like. I'm assuming there's probably not enough time to travel around to other places, so what pics should I keep in mind?

Can you see the Epcot ball from there? Can you see the monorail anywhere?

If you had a photo session around that area or you are a Sea Breeze Point bride... this is your chance to photo bomb this whole thread without anyone yelling at you!

BTW: yes i know there is a photo thread, but so many of the links that have been posted are expired... boo.

No you can't see the monorail but yes you can see spaceship earth..the very top of it from the other end of the boardwalk. The shops and restaurants on the boardwalk are really cute, you can also get some great pictures at the boardwalk inn lobby. You could walk to the yacht and beach club to get pictures on the beach and by the lighthouse too.

We didn't have Disney Photography do our Sea Breeze Pointe or BW photo session, just our MK and EPCOT, but here are some of ours taken by Randy Chapman..you can at least use them for ideas.

I'm sure loads of other SBP brides will be along too with their great pics! :goodvibes

I have loads more but haven't uploaded all of them yet (believe it or not!) :rotfl:

Photo bomb the page eh...challenge taken!

We didn't add any time onto our escape photography during the ceremony part. So, Regina was there beforehand..(DH was thrown outside and we had our photos done in the boardwalk lobby)

And afterwards, she did family pictures, then sent our family off and finished up. We had the option of keeping the bridal party with us, but declined. I'm glad we declined, it was really nice to have that time to ourselves and have some quiet time in the limo. As in, we literally shut our eyes.

Our link actually hasn't expired at this point, but it will soon. I posted a ton of pictures in my pj because I knew how frustrating it was to click on the link only to see that it was expired.

We definitely didn't see the Spaceship Earth or the monorail. We just kind of followed along...or...led without meaning to I suppose, now that I think of it, she was behind us most of the time. Suppose that would mean you could stop wherever you like!

Jennine-
Your pics are gorgeous!!! We had Regina for our MK and EPCOT photo shoot and we loved her!! She takes beautiful photos!

The Boardwalk is a lovely area for photographs, especially at sunset :lovestruc

You'll have a beautiful wedding day with fantastic photographs. Here's a few of mine for some inspiration:

The stairway at BoardWalk Inn is always a popular spot for photos...

We haven't gotten married yet (11 more days to go!!!) but we will be at SBP and the main reason we chose this location was for the pictures. We are having the escape photographer, but we also hired Randy. Our planner told us that the 2 hours would be limited time to get lots of the fun pics around the BW and was trying really hard for us to add on extra hours with Dis photography. we decided against the ridiculous price for an extra hour and went ahead with Randy. I will be sure to post my pictures after our wedding

can you get to the boardwalk from a hotel using the disney busses? we are not going to rent a vehicle, but i would like to be able to scope out this area when we arrive before the wedding.

Not very easily. There are no buses from resort to resort, so you would have to change buses at a park or Downtown Disney. Or you could go to Epcot and walk all the way through the park and out the International Gateway. Or you could go to DHS and grab a boat. I like that way the best!

I think the best way to get there is to travel to a park or dtd (whichever is closest) and then get a bus to one of the boardwalk hotels. I believe you can get there walking through epcot too, and via boat. I have never done it myself though ... so perhaps someone will have a better solution for you :goodvibes

Edit: haha looks like I was beat by the master. that's why I love these boards :goodvibes

We got married at SBP in December, the Boardwalk area is great for pictures and Amy our photographer did a good job of getting a variety of shots. We didn't have any ideas of what we wanted so we just followed her directions:

I love these pictures!

What's that balcony that Boston Disney Bride is standing on? that's a great photo.

I was a Yacht Club bride but we had Randy take us around the Boardwalk to get some pictures after the ceremony.

Thank you! We loved her too. She's so personable, and easy to work with. We don't consider ourselves picture people, yet we're thrilled with the results.

I love this thread lol, I keep coming back to it and checking things out.
