Are escape couples offer discounted room rates for the couple and their guests?

Where did you stay for your wedding? We are having such a hard time deciding where to stay...If you have used the Cinderella coach. How does that work? Where do they pick u up??

I just emailed the wedding planner about this (well the hotels at least)

They will offer discounts at two hotels and if you have 25 nights reserved, you get one free night. We are staying at the Caribbean Beach before the wedding, getting married at SBP and staying at the Boardwalk for the rest of the time.

With the Coach, if you aren't staying at the hotel you are getting married, I don't believe they will pick you up - you will still need transportation to the coach. From what I have read, the Coach is really just for a short "grand entry", pictures and then a "grand exit" (depending on the location of your cake cutting).

That's my understanding of the coach as well! Sorry I can't help with the rooms question except to say that we are staying at the Yacht Club for the wedding and then the Pop for 2 weeks

I believe the free night is only for Wishes Brides - that's what I was told anyways...we have far more than 25 nights reserved between us and all of our guests, but it didn't seem to matter...

That's what I thought too but the planner said it is for everyone. It's really hard to plan when they keep changing their story

Wow!! I thought that this only applied to Wishes Brides too. It would be great to know for certain!!! Where is Carrie!!
I wonder if it applies to rooms booked using DVC points?

I am using the Landau Coach and staying at the Poly.They said that I had to make my way to the GF to get the Coach as it only goes from the GF to the WP and back.
Like someone else said, it's just more for an entrance rather than a ride.
Depending on where you are getting married, it will probably make a difference. I would check with Disney.

The free night is only for Wishes brides but it is worth asking anyway.

The coach is just for a grand entrance and will not pick you up from your hotel.

I would look at all the other discount Disney are offering too - were ignoring the rooms block have been able to book rooms using special offers/renting dvc points etc and have got better discounts than a room block.

Finally heard back from Bill, here is his response regarding Escape Weddings and the 25 room block...

If you book 25 room nights through the room block you can receive the comp room for an Escape Wedding as well. The rooms just have to booked all through the room block.

Maybe they are changing the policy to have more people stay on property/stay longer. Well, whatever the reason, I'm not going to complain!

Hi Eric,

If you and your guests book 25 rooms (not all on one day, could be over the days of your wedding/honeymoon), you get one free night. For the Escape, it would be one of the four of your manditory four nights.

I'm pretty sure it's a total of 25 nights.

I asked this question today and was told that you can do anyhtong you like ith the limo including multiple trips...however, the information one reiceves may not always be accurate since i asked about the room for escape brides and was told not the complimentary room is only for wishes brides...but then i was sent some information in an email by the same person and this is what it said: that escape brides were comp-ed on night for the first 25 nights booked and 1 night in addition for every 50 nights booked

Yes, you still get the limo because it is included in the Escape package and you are paying extra for the carriage - it's not a swap.
