Escape Brides/ Dessert Party?

Can someone tell me if I have this right?
Escape Brides can have a dessert party, but I have to book it on my own? I only have 2 choices of location, Japan and Morocco? What does the Japan location look like? I cannot wear my wedding dress?

Escape brides can have a Dessert Party but it must be booked by the Wedding Coordinator. The two locations are the Morocco Terrace and Japan, which only seats 10 - it's the balcony of the giant tower in Japan. Some some Escape brides with larger parties have been "upgraded" to the Upper UK terrace (the one with the umbrella tables), but this isn't guaranteed, and some brides are told it's not possible.

You can wear your dress but, depending on your DP location, you may then be required to charter transportation. Usually at the UK location you are allowed to meet an event guide at the International Gateway and be escorted in. But Morocco and Japan are pretty far from the the Gateway, so they may tell you you need to hire limos/town cars/mini bus/whatever...

No, you do not book a DP on your own, your WC books it for you!
Yes, that is correct you can only choose between Japan or Morocco! However, I'm having a DP at the Upper UK and I'm an Escape bride. I was told I could only pick from Japan or Morocco, but the UK became available and my WC said as long as I could guarantee 20 I could switch. Yes, as long as you are escorted you can wear your dress! I plan on wearing my for our DP! Hope this helps!

You can also have it at the French "leg".... ask your WC, she'll tell you the right places... some brides are told different things... i want to make sure you have all the possibilities to choose from!

I'm confused (what else is new). I thought anyone could book a desert party. I thought they didn't have to be for a reception...you know for a magical gathering or celebration event or something? If that were the case, why would Escape brides be limited to a couple of venues?

You're definitely not limited, but if it has anything to do with your wedding even if it's a rd or a goodbye thing, you can book it through your WC and make it easier on yourself. If it's a magical gathering book it through them... simple. Also, Escape brides are limited because the other venues hold bigger groups of people and the ones offered to escape brides is a smaller venue... it's just to try and accomodate everyone as best they can....
