Error Message when trying to modify?

I’m still having the same issues this am with error messages. 53 minute holds at the moment 10AM. I’m grateful Dion in MS was able to help yesterday and I’m all set but, I still can’t modify if I wanted to.
 
I ran into this as well with a couple of rooms I tried to reserve so then I tested on a different one I didn't want and it was going to go thru just fine of course. So it's not even generically system wide but specific to certain inventory that displays. :confused3
 
Yeah, same on that. When it wouldn't go through yesterday, I randomly picked a week before or after I wanted to go and it would go through. Then I'd set it back to what I wanted and it wouldn't. Then, 20 minutes later, it suddenly did go through. So, I don't think it is a "real" availability issue, but really can't tell at this point.

Same here. Some dates that show as available are, others that show available are not.

I called MS and they said the dates I wanted were not available.
 

Same here ("No Longer Available") for several different dates -- starting yesterday. What is odd is that I actually called MS and eventually got through -- and he told me that one of the dates in my range was actually NOT available (i.e. it wasn't just a booking bug in not letting me book it -- but it was a bug in not realizing that day wasn't available). That being said, about 10 minutes later, I refreshed again and it let me continue. So, I'm not sure what to believe now. I'm not sure if something is actually NOT available during the date and that it will therefore never become available and it isn't worth refreshing -- or if it actually WILL let you book it if you try enough -- in which case, trying it again in a few minutes might make more sense.

Anyone that got the "No Longer Available" error eventually get it to go through on the site without calling MS?

I got that error when booking a memorial weekend 22’ riviera stay I kept refreshing like the button said. That didn’t work and I just went in again to make a reservation again and it went through. It’s definitely bizarre.
 
Spent most of an hour this morning trying to modify a reservation. Room shows as open, tried to book, room not available. Tried to just book it as a new reservation for open dates, same error. Finally was able to book, nothing different, just kept trying. Hoping this maintenance solves some issues.
 
Finally got through to Member Services. They say the dates I wanted are actually NOT available.

This error is so odd. For some people, it is wrong about availability. For others, it is right, but just won't let them book. Man things are messed up...
 
This is very frustrating. Some cast members know about this problem and some say they don't know (or are playing dumb). Chat in DVC is a total waste of time, when you can even chat with someone. I have dates I'm trying to book and my window is small. This is now day 3 of this issue. I acutely had a cast member tell me to wait until the update in mid-July.
 
It wouldn't let me book VGF today at 7 months. However, it did allow me to book BLT and would have gone through for SSR which are my two home resorts on the membership I was using. Strange for sure!

For mine that wouldn't book one was a home resort and the other was not. The one it would have allowed was also not a home resort on that membership.
 
I tried to modify a reservation for 12/31 from AKV to BCV and it said the date was outside of my booking window :sad2: I didn’t even bother trying to call in because I knew that the room would be long gone by the time I was able to get through.
 
I tried a different server and still getting the message....2 days now very frustrating. I cannot sit on hold for an hour to speak to member services.
Disney has my money so they no longer care about DVC members.
 
BLT studios both Lake view and TPV showed up yesterday, but every time I tried to book it, I also got the Not Available.
It has happened this morning as well. One night only. September 5, trying to get something for my son. Got 1 bedroom at SSR.
 
I can recall a couple of times when ‘phantom’ inventory appeared, people booked and then the resort was overbooked - AKV & VGC I think. This thread suggests there’s currently an overbooking issue at CCV https://www.disboards.com/threads/coppercreek-reservation-now-not-available.3842850/page-2, not sure how widespread the problem is - but DVC’s very hard line SSR standard no upgrade/compensation stance in this case suggests to me that this could be a bit of an issue.
It’s clear that the RAT is not accurately reflecting availability, in some cases showing availability accurately but not allowing that inventory to be booked, in others showing availability when none exists, at least by not allowing booking they avoid overbooking, but what a mess.
The miserable tech seems to be a general Disney problem, not just DVC, and I’m truly astounded that a company as large as Disney can‘t get their tech act together.
 
We had 3 days where we could not modify and were stressing out, trying to get our dates set for a 2 bedroom at BWV (which is nearly impossible to get!) Dates kept showing N/A when we tried to book, but we could see them available. Yesterday, finally got it modified. No issues since.

We didnt' call, but were planning to if it kept up. We just finally got it online. Started Thursday, but finally Saturday evening, it worked to modify dates. Good luck if you're going through it too!

I was going to drop one night and it says no inventory. Sorry, refresh wording. Heck, if it let me drop a day, I could help the inventory. I already have this timeframe booked. Not resale points, made sure guest had email & phone numbers, dumped cookies prior and tried incognito too. Nope, couldnt modify either reservation. I hope we don’t have to wait until July 20th (or longer) to fix this.

I had no trouble this morning, but did yesterday. Got VGF booked today (couldn't yesterday) and was able to modify a January trip too. So, for me, it is working like normal today. It is just so random, but I have a feeling this is why we are seeing a 3 day shut down. They know there are big issues that keep occurring. The other thing is they are trying to fix the loophole where rooms show up in inventory before the waitlist is grabbing them and the availability calendars are not updating in real time when the system is holding them (someone mentioned that a CM has indicated this could be happening???)
