Day 4, Tuesday August 28th

Again, we slept in this morning. I still couldn't believe my kids were sleeping in. We walked over to Epcot this morning. I love walking through the World Showcase when it's closed. It's so peaceful. When we got near future world, we saw the character bus was there. I saw a big grey thing, and said "is that Terk?', nah, it's just Baloo, who we see everywhere. There was only 1 person in line for Mickey, so we saw him again, never too much Mickey. Then we saw Pinocchio was standing all alone. This was our first time to see him. We then saw Eeyore, and as we were finishing I looked to my right and saw… TERK!!!! We love Tarzan, and had been unable to find Terk on our last trip. We could tell they were about to board the bus again, so we bypassed everyone else and ran down for Terk. This made our morning, call us simple, but Terk is so cute. We then cooled off in the misters, and went to see how far out the fastpasses were for Test Track. Being an EE day, they were already out to 3:55 to 4:55. UGH, we were not staying that long. Ds was not happy, this is his favorite ride. We told him he could do the singles line but wouldn't be in a seat with us. He did not want to do this, so we started to leave, with him pouting greatly. I asked dh if he wanted to ride alone, since we were there. At this point ds says "fine, I'll do it". They got in line, and I grabbed a baby swap pass. This worked out so well, that we decided to do it again LOL. Ds rode 4 times in a row, in less than an hour! He was so happy. Dd was also amazingly ok with sitting around that whole time. Last year she got kind of bored and whiny when she had to just wait around, but not this trip. We went through Innoventions for a little while, then went to the Land for lunch. I knew they had baked potatoes here too for dd LOL. When we got there I noticed the standby line was 40 minutes for the land, which I thought was ridiculous, and the fastpass return was about 40 minutes as well. We have never ridden this, so we grabbed 4 passes then ate lunch. What a great idea, after lunch, while people were still waiting 40 minutes, we walked right on to the boat. We really liked this, it was fascinating, but I would never wait 40 minutes for it. Dd was begging for the living seas, so this was our next stop. We skipped the movie as usual, and headed inside. We only stayed for about 20 minutes or so, since we were headed to Sea World the next day. Our next stop was the leapfrog fountains, and then the we unleashed the kids in the other fountains. Oh my were they wet! But they had the time of their lives, we got some great pics of them getting soaked. It was so hot, I was tempted to join them. Instead I just got wet in the misters. There were a couple of birds taking a bath in the misters, and they didn't even flinch when I stood right next to them. It was now back to the hotel for our usual afternoon of swimming. Both of my kids had just become little swimmers before we left home, and they totally excelled in this pool. It was great. After swimming, we were taking the kids to the Sandcastle club, so we could do e-night. They said to come at 6 for a 6:15 drop off. My kids were dying to go so we got there a couple minutes early, and they went straight for the games, and didn't even turn around to say goodbye. We were on our way to the bus stop by 6, and there was a bus about to leave when we got close. My dh waved at him, and he reluctantly waited for us. You could tell he was not happy about it. This was our crazy driver of the trip! This guy was nuts, he drove so fast, I swore he would tip that bus right over. He was just blowing by all the other buses and cars on the roads. He sure got us there in a hurry though LOL. We were in the park by 6:15. We saw a big line for wristbands at City Hall, so we went back to Tomorrowland and got ours, there was no one there. I was getting hungry but I didn't want to eat until after Space Mountain. We went to see if there was anything we could ride that wasn't an e-night ride, but the lines were long. About 6:50 we got in line for Space Mountain, since we had nothing else to do. It was basically a walk on already, even though it said 20 minutes. This ride is OK, only my second time on it, but I can only do it once. The people behind us tried to go right back on, but they had no wristbands, so they were turned away. I was glad that they were paying attention. By this point I was so hungry I was shaking, so the nearest thing was turkey legs. They smelled good, so I said, whatever, I have to eat. They were OK, but I don't forsee myself eating one again. We hit Alien Encounter next, since we have never been able to do this before. I had a hard time enjoying the first portion in the darkness as I could hear a little girl down the row from me just bawling her head off. Some parents, man that makes me mad. We thought it was pretty funny, and agreed, we would NOT take our kids on it. Especially Alexa, she would be traumatized for life. When we walked out we saw at least 4 little kids just sobbing. I felt so bad for them. We did Buzz next, then dh wanted to so Space again. Go ahead, I'll be shopping LOL. I watched while I waited, as more than half the people that came off, went right back on. He was out in 10 minutes, and we rode the people mover. I just love this ride, so nice and quiet. Very hot in the building portions though. We headed to Big Thunder next, for our longest wait of the evening, probably 10-15 minutes. Dh rode Splash for the first time next, since I hate drops. I sat around and waited. Even though it was a walk on, the ride is so long, I thought I waited forever. It was getting near 10, so we hopped on Aladdin, with no wait, and rode pretty much alone, then headed for the bus. We needed milk again, so dh headed to the Boardwalk and I picked up the kids. When I got there, they and 2 other kids were laying in the dark, with pillows and blankets, watching Scooby Doo. I walked over to them, and they both said "AWWWWW, we want to stay" LOL. Sorry guys. Then they asked if they could go back tomorrow. Yeah right, at $72 for a night? I don't think so. We all had a good night, but I could not afford to do that every night.

Its nice to hear about the Sandcastle club. Lots of people ask questions about it here on the boards.

Great trip reports! I am really enjoying reading them. Thanks for taking the time to Post!
