Well I thought I was set on the WP for my ceremony, but now I think I want to have it at Epcot (I'm thinking the UK).
Has anyone had a ceremony at Epcot and if you have can you answer a few questions for me

1. I know that the ceremony has to end by 10 am put how early can they start?

2. Is there a limit on how may guest can attend?

3. What did you do after the ceremony?

Any help will be greatlyappreciated :)

I'm having my ceremony at the American Adventure Rotunda. We are having our ceremony at 9 am with some pictures starting as early as 8 am. I'm not sure about the limits for the locations. I think at the AAR we can have up to 150, right now we are at around 60.

One thing about having it in the park is that you have to provide bus transportation for your guests. Our guests will be transported to the Living Seas immediately after our wedding for the cocktail hour. Our brunch will be held there once we are done with pictures. That evening we are having a dessert party back at Epcot at the French Island.

I'm so happy to know that you can start pictures at 8 am. The Living Seas might work for us also, it was one of our top choices a couple of months ago. Thank you so much for sharing youf info :thumbsup2

JonetteA had her ceremony at the UK pavillion in Epcot, it was really gorgeous!! Have a search and see if you can find her TR, im sure it will have some photos etc in it!

Athough I am not getting married in Epcot--I am having my reception at French Island. (We're too lazy to get up that early). Otherwise we would be too, and I think no matter which one you choose it is going to be soo unique and gorgeous. I seen a pic of someone having the ceremony in Japan and that was just incredible.
congrats and good luck, Maggie

We had our ceremony in the italy isola in epcot, you will love having an epcot wedding!! I think you can start as early as you want, it's just that you have to be out of there by 10 so they can clean up before that part of the park opens. The groomsmen/groom arrived in epcot around 7:10 for picture taking, and we arrived around 7:45 for the pictures. Our guests had boarded the Chartered Disney-cruise-line bus starting around 7:45 to 8:15 (it picked them up from 3 different hotels). The bus dropped them off right behind the American Adventure around 8:30 am right as I was finishing up the pictures and getting into the limo. Around 8:37 they started walking to the italy pavilion (love those time-stamps on the digital pictures!). Our ceremony was from like 9-9:20 or so, give or take. Then we took more post-ceremony photos while the guests had the pre-reception, and left by 10 or so.

2.) guest limit depends on your location, it's quite variable.

3) after the ceremony we took more photos, then headed to the reception :)

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions :)

:rotfl: I'm not a big morning person either, but I think I can manage on my wedding day. DF joked about me "growling" at the alter. I'm just going to have to change my sleeping schedule about 4 months before the wedding.

Thank you so much for the info! :goodvibes I just found out the the UK only holds 35 people so I'm now looking into the Italy isola also. Your time line has given me a great idea on what to expect. I'm sure I'm going to have many more questions soon so your help will we very much welcomed :flower3: .

My DF and I are getting married next May in Japan. We were a little worried about the 9 am wedding as well but i think it'll be great to have it first thing in the morning... otherwise I would drive myself crazy with excitement all day. I'm not a very patient person. ;) There is a really pretty pic of a marriage in japan that we received from DFTW. If you want I can email it to you.. just pm me your email address. :goodvibes

I'm glad I'm not the only one that worried about a 9 am wedding! I just sent you a pm with my email address. Thank you so much.

Our wedding was at 9 am, but we took pictures beforehand with the bridal party and some of the family photos. We also took some family pics afterwards, and then sent them on the way to our brunch reception. We then took a few more pics around Epcot.

The number of guests is dependant on your venue. We had about 48-50 guests and that fit nicely in our venue at the UK Pavilion. Japan and Canada would have smaller amounts of people allowed, whereas France and Italy would allow for more. Talk to your WP about what fits with your vision.

Afterwards we had our reception at CG which ended around 2pm and then everyone went their own way. Later that night we met up for Desert Party in Epcot.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I would be happy to help in any way I can.

Your wedding day was beautiful. I loved the pictures. I'm also going with Randy too so it was nice to see his work.
I called Kristi Davis yesterday and asked her a ton of questions. After looking at everything DF and I decided to go with the UK for our wedding ceremony. We had picked the Cali Grill when we thought we were having an evening event, so we might do a lunch there. I'm going to look into Ariels as well. Thank you again to everyone that has relpied to my post and sent me pictures. You have all made this so much easier on me and I'm so thankful
