Epic Mickey Question

We got Epic Mickey for Wii for Xmas. How do you spray the paint and thinner???? I rely on you disboard experts for everything and you've never let me down!! HELP...Thanks!

You need the nunchuck attached. To spray the paint you point the circle on the screen at what you want painted and press and hold the "B" key. (it's like the trigger on a gun). To spray the thinner you press and hold the "Z" key on the nunchuck. Hope that helps.

Thank you. It still isnt working. I have the numchuk plugged in. I can walk around and jump and spin but no paint, no thinner. Do i have to unlock something??

You have to exit the first area before you learn how to use the paint and thinner. I just got it today and was also going "why can't I paint?!" - If you keep going through the game you should get to the point where the gremlin teaches you about paint and thinner.

OK, this from DD:


You point and hold either A or B (Paint or Thinner) for whichever you want. A is located on top of the controller, B is the little index trigger on the bottom of the controller. Paint creates things, Thinner destroys things. Keep in mind that what you choose to do changes which Mickey you play. Creating (paint) makes Mickey 'good.' while Destroying (thinner) makes Mickey 'bad.' Also, you can either turn or kill a bad guy. Use Paint on bad guys to turn them to your side (this also makes 'good' Mickey). Or use Thinner on a bad guy to destroy them ('bad' Mickey).

I got the Epic Mickey game for my kids for Christmas but they haven't given me a chance yet to play it (I really bought it for myself, don't you know, but needed the kids as the excuse )

DD has informed me that I MUST play this video game. Not just sit there and do needlework while she plays, this one is too cool. Of course, I had to buy a Wii for her since this thing isn't available on any other system.

Yep, Same here. I bought my kids Epic Mickey for Christmas but I promptly "scheduled" time to play it when they were done with other games and my DS12 said "Uh, I'll have to help you cuz I don't think they made it where moms would understand." The last time I was into a game this much was Kingdom Hearts and he was like 5 or 6 and thinks I don't have any idea how to play a game he likes......

Enjoy the game....we got it as well for Christmas but have not had a chance to play it yet.

We got it too. My DD just started playing this morning. You have to escape the dungeon, evil lab, or whatever they call it before you can use your thinner and paint. Gus (the gremlin) shows Mickey how to use it in a short animation.
