On the trip will be: Me, 2 adult ds, dd,dsil and 2 dgs 4 & 7 then. Possibly oldest ds's,GF & her 2 sons 10 & 11. Thats 7-10 people:scared1: Grandson 4 has asthma, allergies & eczema which may or may not effect time to go.

We want 7-10 days. I plan to request 1500 loop. DD in college so that really limits times available. I have 3 options so far.

1.Jan 2nd-8th. Not sure if any availablity at this point

2.March 15th-25th. Arkansas statewide spring break is 19th-23rd. higher crowds but could deal with that.

3.sometime end of May/first of June to mid June. I know it will be hot but I learned on here how to put AC in tent, works pretty well! Not sure if would be cool enough in FL. for DGS. Could also maybe rent a pop up or 5th wheel for some of family so maybe could avoid some issues with DGS.

Any and all advice/opinions Welcome!!:hippie:

Having been in WDW for Marathon Weekend (early January) the past two years, I would say that time frame would be shaky at best. In early January 2010, there was sleet, snow and hail with temps dipping down to 26°F. We wore jeans and jackets over our long sleeved clothes.

We are planning our big camping adventure for the first full week of May 2012. We are however slightly chickening out. We are renting a small RV--but setting up a tent to sleep in, save a monsoon.

I would pick the march. That is when we are planning ours. It will be spring break for our kids. We live in FL but that is just our area not sure if other areas are going that week too. Like you said it will probably be crowded cause I am sure other areas will be on spring break that week too. The weather is a bit better. Not too hot and not too cold. I know we have had some severely cold Januarys lately. Like the PP said. I have gone outside in the morning with my windshields covered in ice. And june will definitely be HOT and we tend to get more rain then too.

I'm not sure what you mean by DGS... but if it's dogs... loop 1500 is NOT a pet loop.
