Thanks, we did fine. First of all, we didn't even have a palm frond blow off our palms in the front yard.

And, of course, we HAD champagne. Basic rule of hurricanes is, "If Momma ain't happy, ain't NObody happy!" So we had plenty of bubbly.

Unfortunately, my old alma mater didn't fare so well. I'm an Army Brat and graduated from Fayetteville (NC) High, so I was disturbed to see all the destruction and deaths around Fayetteville, and indeed, in much of NC. Lots of wonderful people in that area, so we were really saddened by the destruction there.
