Hi everyone. I'm heading out to disney world on Wednesday 25th July and will attempt to write my first photo based trip report when I get back.

I'm travelling with my husband, who is a big fan of meat, steaks in particular, my dad, who is celebrating his 60th birthday while we are out there, my mum,who eats most things except for fish/ seafood, my brother, who has become increasingly open to new dining experiences over the years, and his girlfriend, who also eats most things.

As you may have guessed from the title, we're on the disney dining plan, and I can't wait to experience the gastronomic wonders that lie in store again. (we also had the dining plan when we went 4 years ago, and it makes a big difference to some of the restaurants we've chosen to go to.) I'm very much into my food, particularly steaks and fish. The only foods I'm really not keen on are olives, eggs (which I was allergic to when I was younger) and offal.

There's still a couple of days that we don't have ADRs planned for, so I'm hoping that we'll be able to find somewhere decent to eat then, but here's the plan so far, with a mix of old favourites from years past, and a couple of restaurants we've never been to.

26th July - Cinderella's Castle. A great way to start a magical holiday. (provided no one eats too much in the day and fills themselves up too much for dinner, as happened on our previous trip.)
27th July - Rainforest cafe. I must admit, this probably wouldn't have been my first choice (I would have picked the Yak and Yeti) but there's enough choice on the menu to satisfy everyone in our group.
28th July - Garden Grill. We've not been here for several years, and were not able to get advance reservations last time, but we all have fond memories of the atmosphere.
29th July - Mama Melroses.
30th July - California Grill. Today, we celebrate my dad's birthday in style at what is probably one of my favourite disney world restaurants. We've only eaten here once before, but it was such an amazing, memorable meal, and I can't wait to dine here again, and document the meal properly this time!
31st July and 1st August - Free days.
2nd August - House of Blues. We've never been here before but we've heard good things about it, and the menu sounds interesting.
3rd August - another free day.
4th August - Coral Reef.
5th August - Le Cellier. (Lunch) This was a particular surprise of our trip last time. We were unable to secure advance reservations for Le Cellier 4 years ago, but were lucky enough to snag a cancelled lunch reservation when we got to Disney world. Melt in the mouth steaks actually meant a rare silence descended as we all devoured the food. This time, it's booked and will be a perfect goodbye meal for disney.

Your dining plans look wonderful! What a great way to celebrate your dad's 60th with Cali Grill!

Have an awesome trip and let us know all about your dining! :)

You had me at "Epic". :rotfl: Sounds yummy! We are hoping to go to some of those in the future, so I'm looking forward to your reviews! :thumbsup2
