Epcot's Food and Wine Festival

How does Epcot's Food and Wine Festival effect attendance at the other parks??

I am not planning on attending this event, but should I stay away totally while this is happening to avoid a crowded atmosphere??

Is this a huge event??

It's pretty popular and has grown in attendance over the past few years. However, if they continue to raise the prices and reduce the quality and selection of the samples, it won't grow for much longer.

Can't help you with the other parks bit of the question, because I'm always at EPCOT during this event.

We have noticed the crowds really growing through the years at WDW as a whole during the fall season,as we have visited during the fall approximately 4 of the last 6 years, all during Food and Wine. Whether the increased crowd numbers can be attributed to Food and Wine, I don't know? One thing is for sure, the fall season seems to be the busiest convention season for them. As far as F&W being a HUGE event, it certainly is growing in popularity. Look at it this way, anytime @ Disney is always a good time!
