Epcot's Festival Of Flowers

I believe this is going on right now.....anyone just back? How was it?

Is this a "better" or just as good-event than the Oct-Nov Festival of Food?

we just got back sunday evening. the flower festival officially starts on april 25th I believe. There were signs of some of topiaries and flowers starting to appear around epcot as of late last week. I have never been during the wine festival, so, I really can't compare the two. The flower festival, in my opinion, doesn't really affect your touring any. In fact, if you didn't know it was going on, you really wouldn't notice any difference if that makes any sense? It is really gorgeous with all the flowers and topiares of all the characters and such. The fragrances of all the different flowers is lovely as well.

I went to it the past 3 years and it's a totally different event than the Food & Wine Festival. You basically just walk through the gardens and look at the flowers. They have some special concerts and seminars. Food & Wine Festival is more interactive.

WE have gone for the past 4 years. This year we cannot make it. If you have a love of plants it is great. They have special speakers on different days, usually a special luncheon, flowers everywhere, more than ususal and usually some really cool things that they can do with flowers. They also have a lot of different companies setting up displays during this time also. They have an area where purchase different items and of course they have special pins for the Festival if you are are into pin collecting.
