EPCOT's boat at fort wilderness??

My family was staying at the fort, and Disney had the EPCOT boat in bay lake to practice docking the boat(thats what we were told) and they got stuck at the campground marina-the boat was too big, jammed it in real good! it was on the left side of the dock from the beach view-My memory tells me this would have been the end of september-82, (we stayed every year,the last week of sept, and the first week of oct.) but if they were practicing, EPCOT must not have been ready so it might have been in 81? does anyone remember this? I wish we took a pic! Maybe when I get all my old rolls of film developed that are laying around I might have a photo of it! thanks

they were common during that time, sometime you could even ride on them. they had them there for crew training
