We've never been to Epcot. My kids are 6 and 3. What are the MUST DO'S there.

Definitely head directly to The Seas with Nemo & Friends (used to be called The Living Seas if you have an old guide or book) and check out Turtle Talk and the new clammobile ride. Turtle Talk is interactive and your kids will get to sit down front, hopefully being chosen to ask Crush a question. It's a great little show, but gets very crowded really quickly. My DS7 has LOVED Journey Into Imagination with Figment since our first WDW trip when he was 4.

If you're planning on going around the World Showcase, definitely make a point of stopping at the Kidcot spots and letting the kids get a paper ornament and color at each of the stops. If they get all of them, they'll receive a cute 8 x 10 cartoon picture of the characters with autographs on it.

Also, your 6 year old may enjoy the Plastics display in one of the Innoventions buildings. After listening to a short "lecture" about all the wonders of plastic, they'll get to "build" a computer robot and race it. The best part is once you've finished that, everyone in your group will get to make a plastic robot--a great free souvenir bound to enterain both kids for a while.

Turtle Talk with Crush is a must. If you are into getting autographs I have found the characters are less mobbed and spend more time with you.

The new Nemo ride and Journey into Imagination would be must.

If you're heading for World Showcase, the boat ride in Mexico is fun for the little ones (although the theme song gets mighty old to me!). There's rarely a line and it's a good cool stop if the weather's hot...

Don't try to do too much in one day-- the place is huge and there are a lot of attractions to walk and/or stand through...tired feet!

Definetely see the living seas- the seas with nemo and friends and turtle talk with crush. Also see Journey into imagination with figment, the Universe of energy, and do the kidcot stops around the world showcase.

No one has mentioned my kids favorite, Test Track and Soarin!!! My kids have been on TT since they were 4 and has been their favorite ride ever since. They love Soarin, Energy and Crush. They also love the Kidcot stops. My older two (9 and 7) also love tasting food at Epcot. Even if its just a dessert they tried something new!!

I would say Soarin, Test Track, Nemo ride, & Journy into Imagnation. Talking with Crush is a yes!

must see's for my 4, 2, 2, year olds last month included turtle talk, nemo, figment and the creative area afterwards (they loved taking pics of themselves and having them turn into tigers and such), spaceship earth, the boat ride at mexico, the ride in norway, the trains in germany (they could have spent hours watching them, I'm not kidding), and the american adventure show. their absolute favorite thing I think was the maze in the UK. they were the only ones back there, it was a hot day when we were there, but omg, they had so much fun running around it. I have it on video and they giggled and giggled and giggled as they tried to find their way out. they also enjoyed the toy shop there, especially the thomas the train set up.

MY favorites (as a 20 year old) at Epcot are test track and soarin... trying to put myself in a younger mindframe i would say the figment ride was cute, as was the new nemo ride. I do think your children might enjoy test track, because it's not all that scary... the only semi scary part is when you think a semi is going to finish you off. lol. but it's fun. Soaring would be cool too as long as they arent afraid of flying or heights! :thumbsup2

We saw lots of little ones having fun at the Kidcot Funstops in WS. The Nemo ride is sooo cute. Your kids will love it.

Soarin, absolutely.
Test track, depends on the kids, probably like, fast but no drops.
Nemo...love it
Turtle Talk...dude, love it even though my kids are big.
Journey into Imagination, great for kids, although I liked the old show better, we have a big stuffed figment at home, he's cool

Don't forget to try the Maelstrom at Norway, it sounds scary but is really a mild thrill ride, with a very educational film at the end.

And...the kidcot fun stops, the kids will like making masks (you can have a glass of wine or a marguerita while they make them)...

Oh , yes another not to forget is innoventions. We went in the a.m. and my kids (17 and 12) begged me to let them spend some time there. The got an hour, I got a cappucino at the fountainview expresso and bakery. I don't expect that you would leave children of 6 and 3 while you go out and have a coffee. But they will probably enjoy innoventions under your watchful eye. When they are 17 and 14, maybe you can follow my lead.

I'm living vicariously through you, wish I were there.

It's my favorite park. You got to go on SORIN.

My kids are 3 and 7 the must do's for us are: Soarin, Nemo, Turtle Talk with crush and Test Track X10, DS7 favorite! :rotfl2:

I think Epcot is WONDERFUL for kids your kid's ages - 3 of my 4 children love Epcot. Mission Space is the only thing too intense. If she's tall enough; Soarin’ and Test Track should be fine. Honey I Shrunk the Audience 3-D and Maelstrom might be a little scary for some little ones but many do just fine. Spaceship Earth, The Universe of Energy (Dinosaurs & 45 blessed minutes of air conditioning), and Journey into Your Imagination with Figment are all visually interesting for kids. One of the Innovention pavilions has a lot of things geared for little ones. The Seas with Nemo and Friends is great for kids – marine life & “Turtle Talk with Crush” are fantastic. “The Land” has a character meal and there are Princess meals at the Norway Pavillion. There are Character Meet & Greets all through Epcot. There is some great entertainment too – the Jammitors are a “Stomp” like percussion group.

There are “Kidcot” stations throughout the World Showcase. Your kids can make a cardboard mask (free) at which ever station they stop at first. Then they can add a decoration at each additional station. The boat ride at the Mexico pavilion is similar to “It’s A Small World”. The kids may or may not enjoy the American Adventure or the Circle Vision movies in China & Canada. If I was going to choose one, I’d go with the China movie. There is a little hedge maze in the UK pavilion that is too short for adults to find challenging but I saw a bunch of kids gleefully running through. I also saw kids intrigued by the model train at the Germany pavilion. My kids loved wandering through the Morocco pavilion. There are Koi fish in the pond in Japan. Norway has a Viking boat play area.

There is some fantastic entertainment that kids will enjoy: The “Serveur Amusant” (France) is a comedic balancing act. Japan has three great things for kids – “Matsuriza” is a traditional drum act; “Miyuki” is a very neat candy artist, and there is a Japanese Storyteller “Honobono Minwa” on Wed, Thurs, & Fri. Sergio (Italy) is a juggler. “OrisiRisi”, he drum circle and African Storytellers (Mon- Fri) in the Outpost get good reviews. Kids always love the Dragon Legend Acrobats (China) because they are children too. Some kids will enjoy “Off Kilter” (Canada) – bagpipe rock and “MoRockin” (Morocco) – Middle Eastern pop sounding band. IllumiNations is the evening fireworks show and it is excellent.

Epcot takes a little advance planning so that you see the entertainment that you want to see - some starts earlier in the day, others a little later in the afternoon. You'll received a "Times Guide" when you get to the park but you can get an idea of the schedule by clicking on the "Epcot" tab at http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/
