The destination is more important; where are you headed and why lol. If it is just a random trip around, then we start at Mexico if we want to ride right away, or if we want to meander more, we start in Canada.
It depends on where I'm coming from. We tend to stay in the Epcot resorts so it's usually IG but if we have been to another park we will be entering from the front gates. It really is random as to which way we go, sometimes we have a destination in mind so will head toward that country, sometimes we just walk whichever way seems less crowded.
We start in Canada coming from Future World. Not sure why though.....because we’re right-handed? Seriously, for no particular reason I know of. We visit all the countries, so we get there eventually.
Usually start at Mexico and do the boat ride followed by my first drink at the tequila bar. If I start earlier I hit up Canada followed by watching the band at England. Can’t go wrong either way.
We usually stay at Beach Club, so enter through the Int'l Gateway. I usually start my trek around the World Showcase at Joffrey's Coffee kiosk between UK and Canada pavilion for an iced coffee with Kahlua. Best way to start the day
It depends on our plans for the day but I usually try to plan things so that we start in Mexico. I don't like to criss-cross across the parks and since we usually start our day at the Land Pavillion and work out way around to Finding Nemo, Spaceship Earth, Test Track then Mexico is the next natural point.
We usually stay at the BW, so it all depends on what we want to do but it usually depends on where we are going. If we need to go to future world, then we will go to UK. If we are hanging out in the World Showcase, then we will held to France.
Canada if I want to start with a La Fin du Monde beer, Mexico if I want a margarita. We go to Epcot multiple days and it doesn’t really matter which way you go.
We usually do two to three days at Epcot when we visit. We always seem to start our first day with Mexico. Following days depend on what we missed our first day.
As for why? Who knowswhy it started, but now it seems to be tradition. I think it may have to do with what we decide to do for lunch, and the quickest way there.
