Rose & Crown in England...but you are not guaranteed to get a table with a view. They will let you leave your table & go out on the patio to watch Illum. when it's time. But that's not a whole lot different than just finding a place to watch around the lagoon. They will not let you wait for a patio table...when a table is ready at your reservation time, you have to take it whether it's inside or out.
The new place in Mexico..La Hacienda de San Angel has two rooms. One of the rooms has huge windows overlooking the lagoon & very-good views (window tables) to Just-OK views (tables in the window room, but farther back from the windows) but you can see Illuminations from that room. However, 1/3 of the restaurant is facing away from the lagoon & has no view whatsoever (there are windows, but they overlook the side of the building and the path going towards China...not a view of the lagoon with Illum. at all). Again, they will not let you wait to get a "view" table, it's just luck. If you're in the no-view area, you can get up at Illum. and go to other room..stand at back of room and kind of have a view through the windows...but you're pretty far back. Better view outside from about anywhere on the lagoon.
There is also a counter service restaurant there at Mexico which has outside seating with a view. Again, if you're lucky, you can get your meal & have a table view of Illuminations. They control access to that patio from about an hour before Illum. to restrict access to people who are actually eating there.
