I have read several posts that mention the various adult libations at the World Showcase in EPCOT. I thought it would be fun to get a running list of libations, wines and beers everyone likes at the different pavillions.

I know the Grey Goose Slushes and Grand Mariner Slushes are favs so I will plug those in to get started.

Whose got additions?

Mexico
Frozen Margarita
Midnight Blue Grand Patron (Margarita stand)
Roja Naranja (La Cava del Tequila)
Lima y Jalapeno (La Cava del Tequila)
La Cava del Tequila Margarita Flights
Aguacate
Dos XX (beer)

Norway
White Zinfandel

China
Peach Snap
Green Plum Bao Bing

Germany
Wine Walk Passport
Spaten Oktoberfest (Beer)
Kirchwasser (German Lemonade)

Italy
Wine Walk Passport
Limoncello Margarita
Rosa Regalia
Prosecco

United States
Yuengling Lager
Sam Adams

Japan
Sapporo
Sake

Morocco
Sultan

France
Grey Goose Slushie
Grand Marnier Sulshee
Wine Walk Passport
Champagne

United Kingdom
Boddington's
Guinness
Scotch Tasting (Rose & Crown)
Welsh Dragon (Rose & Crown)

Canada
Lablatt Blue

Mexico: Frozen margarita (lime, no salt)
Germany: The wine sampling passport was probably my (and our) favorite, though they've plenty of good beers available
Italy: I'll second the wine sampling
United States: Yuengling Lager
Japan: Sapporo
Morroco: Whatever the beer they have is pretty decent. Morroco-rita was a bit too sweet
France: Definitely the Grey Goose slushie
UK: Boddington's is my standby. Can't go wrong with a proper Guinness though.
Canada: Labatt Blue, though all their beers are great in my eyes.

Either the Roja Naranja (blood orange ) or Lima y Jalapeno (wine and jalapeno) margaritas from La Cava del Tequila.

In my opinion any of their specialties beat the outside frozen margaritas (although they do cost a good bit more)

You can buy a wine passport in Germany, Italy or France and it entitles you to sample 2 different wines (about a half glass each, maybe a little less) in each of those 3 countries. They choose the wines - you don't pick from the available ones. Cost in September was $20.

:thumbsup2

I have to say, though, that all of our local Mexican restaurants charge around the same for their top shelf versions, though they do give you a little more. Overall, I was actually surprised that they weren't more expensive in the cave.

I was getting margs in Vegas for 10 bucks and marveling at how cheap they were...but then the ones at LCDT aren't a lot more than that. Once you add in a tip for the bartender they get more expensive, but I'd rather have the bartenders make them (say hello to Jamie, Pepe and Hector if you go) than get one squeezed out of a machine.

Hector talked me into leaving the salt on the rim last time - I never get salt, but their specialty salts are part of the flavor combination and aren't "salty" in the least. I caught myself licking it off the rim.

We'll be in EPCOT every evening this weekend, which means I will make at least 3 trips, one for each bartender.

:cool1:

From the Margarite stand my Mexico I have to recommend the "Midnight Blue" Grand Patron.. It was really good, I cannot wait to get another one..

My DH and I really enjoyed doing the Scotch tasting at Rose and Crown. We are not really Scotch drinkers but the presentation was cool and it was fun! I also like to mix it up at RC and get a Shandy sometimes - that's a Bass with a shot of Sprite in it. I call that my "hydration" beverage during our journey around the WS!

I really enjoyed the "sultan" from the Morocco pavillion. Almost a little pina colada tasting. YUMMY!!

I LOVE Germany's lemonade with Kirchwasser! I smile everytime I use the souvenir cup it came in.

Great thread.

I really miss the Ringeness Beer that they used to sell in Norway at the Akershus Restaurant (before the princesses moved in)

Last time I went I had a Green Plum Bao Bing frozen drink from the China kiosk that was :thumbsup2

Mexico
Frozen Margarita - These bad boys are VERY refreshing on a hot day!
Dos XX - A tasty, rich beer

Norway
White Zinfandel - It was good.

China
Can't say much

Germany
Spaten Oktoberfest - Robust and malty, this beer is great on a cold night with a pretzel

Italy
Any wine--they are all good!

United States
Sam Adams Boston Lager - Extremely fresh and hoppy poured from draft.

Japan
Sake is interesting...

Morocco
I had a red wine that was nice.

France
Any wine

United Kingdom
Boddington's and Guinness

Canada
Eh, not much
