Hi everyone! I need some help with planning my Epcot morning. We are going the end of April and planning to go to Epcot the Sunday after Easter. I can't decide what is the best plan for rope drop. It'll be just me and my husband, but we haven't seen Frozen yet so that is our priority. We are thinking of rope dropping to Frozen, then heading back to Soarin, then Fast Pass for Test Track. To me this feels like back tracking. I typically like to finish out Future World first, then hit World Showcase. Will this be a lot of back and forth? Should I try for a Frozen FP instead and rope drop Soarin? If I do get a Frozen FP, do you miss out on seeing a lot of the queue? Also if I do Frozen first, what will the Soarin line be like by the time I get back to it, and what time would I shoot for a Test Track FP? I was thinking maybe 10-11. Sorry for all the questions, I just want to maximize our one day at Epcot and be able to do everything we want. Thanks!

I think getting a Frozen FP+ early is going to be difficult so I would try to RD Frozen. FP+ TT for like 9:30 or so then head over to Soarin and just ride standby there. If you can get an early Frozen FP+ then RD TT.

We just did an AM EMH at Epcot and RD TT and it broke down 3 times and we didn't get out of there until 8:45. Then headed over to Soarin and it was basically a walk-on. We had Frozen FP+ and that too was broke down so our entire schedule was trashed that day.

I would rope drop Soarin, single rider line TT and FP FEA. Chances are F&G is going to be happening in Epcot while you are there and you are most likely going to want to spend as much time as possible in WS.

F&G is going on and there is also a run Disney event that morning too. Hoping that doesn't make crowds even worse in the morning. This was my preferred plan, but I'm worried that if we do FP for Frozen we won't see much of the queue (assuming we can even get one).

If you can get a FP+ for FEA, great, do it. But you may not be able to. If you can't, then I'd do it this way:

Rope drop Soarin'
Go to FEA (standby line should still be short)
FP+ TT

You could flip/flop Soarin and TT if you want (RD TT and FP+ Soarin).

We did standby for FEA back in early July. We got there around 9:30am and waited less than 30 minutes. It was great, like you said, it gave us time to see the queue. It's not super cool, but it's neat.

I just did Epcot without fastpasses a few weeks ago. We were there before rope drop and went straight to Frozen. Think the wait was a total of about 12 minutes from the time we joined the Frozen queue to the time we loaded. By the time we finished riding, the queue was already posted with a 45 minute wait. We then went over to Soarin' where we walked on twice in a row. We then went over to TT where we did two trips through single rider and had a wait of less than 5 minutes. We did all of this within the first hour and a half after park opening. If you would rather not split up on TT, then I would suggest Frozen at rope drop, then over to Soarin', both on standby, and plan to FP+ TT. It is a bit more walking back and forth doing things this way, but I think it's the best way to do all of them with the shortest waits.
