Epcot to the Flying Fish Cafe

We have a reservation at Flying Fish. How long will it take us to get to the restaurant if we leave Epcot through the International Gateway? I'm assuming that this is the best route.

You can walk from the IG to FF in 7-10 minutes.

I'd agree with the 10 minute estimate.

And don't bother taking the boat - you'll make it faster walking.

If the boat is at the dock it may be faster than walking but the walk is a very nice one. We usually walk.
Ask for Rebekah at FF, she takes good care of us.

I have started walking, just as the boat pulls away from the BW dock. I walk at my normal pace (may be somewhat faster than some). I reach the International Gateway dock area just as the boat is unloading...pretty much the same time. I do get to the turnstiles before the boat people though.
It's usually faster to walk to BW from Intl Gateway.

The boat goes direct BW to Intl Gateway, but goes Intl Gateway to Beach/Yacht to BW in the other direction. The boat trip towards Flying Fish therefore takes even longer than the return to Epcot.

Unless they have revamped the boat routes as of late, that is not the case. The IG boat goes to BW, then to YC/BC, then on to S/D and DHS. I 'raced' the boat from IG to BW back in April, and my experience (timing) was much like goofy4tink's, but that boat went straight to BW, and beat me there by about 1 minute.
